Hi, I noticed that I was wrong with the weight of the hippopotamus, I said that they can reach 9000 lbs (4082 kg), when in fact its maximum weight is actually 4082 lbs (1850 kg). I messed up the sizes, so I apologize!
Had a family member work in a animal habitat facility. The gorillas in there was very wise. Any time a bigger species would walk by the gorilla would brake a tree limb off and carry it like a weapon. I’m a firm believer the humble giants are truly under estimated
Yes they would. It really doesn't have to be a natural item. As a texted to that author, primates grab discarded item from people & experiment with them. In truth, they spend more time studying us then we study them. Plane & auto parts are often taken by primates & used by them. And if a gorilla is swinging some steel transmission parts, even a hippo could be killed. A 1/2 steel rod, if stabed by a gorilla, could go straight inside the Hippo's body. So how's the hippo ever going to get it out? The Hippo cannot live with a 1 foot bar stuck in it's back. it's not sanitary is a Hippo's pond
I was in a fight with a gorilla once, and it was an easy win for me. Okay, it might have been a chimpanzee, but I still beat it. On second thought, it was just a lemur, but I did get the best of it. Okay, it was a wasp, and it stung me on the arm, and I couldn’t work for three days. It was a gnat.
A colleague was stung by the gnats huge muscular cousin, the mosquito, while salmon fishing few years ago....He was actually away from work for three days because of it... I bought him a "Can't work, my arm is in a cast" t-shirt with a flyfishing motive for when he came back and he sometimes wears it to work with a huge grin when he comes in lol
Gorillas are strong and more nimble than they were given credit for in this video. However, what sets these other animals apart is that they are predatory hunters. Gorillas live on 95% vegetation. They eat green leafy things and fibrous stalks of plants mostly. Occasionally they will munch on some ants, but they don't hunt and kill other animals. That's a huge difference when determining who would win in a fight. Also if you're going to include a damn wussy giraffe then you better also include the much more ferocious African bull elephant.
I am glad that you included the giraffe. Despite how much people underestimate the animal, most people don’t know from first glance or light research that giraffes have been known to behead lions, and ferociously guard their kill or their dead calves. They will run out at the lions and once they even kicked one to death as revenge. Point being: don’t underestimate the giraffe. EVER.
I went to Rawanda in '94 as part of a humanitarian effort. While near the Zaire and Congo border, I, unfortunately saw up close and personal, a humongous Silverback that some poachers had captured and brought down from the mountains and tried to get it into this ridiculous enclosure. 10 idiots tried to get it under control with ropes when the gorilla yanked the morons around and managed to get hold of and killed 5 of them, ripping them apart like pieces of paper right in front of us. It was ridiculously scary to have been so close to this animal and horrifying to witness this take place. Those idiots did kill the gorilla with multiple shots of a large caliber rifle. It did not go down easy. They paid a heavy price in front of everyone for their stupidity. It still enrages me thinking about it. The strength of this beautiful creature was hard to accept. Those dudes didn't have anywhere close to a chance. A day I'll never forget as long as I live.
While I think I can agree that an aggressive encounter with any of these animals would lead to a large male gorilla taking the L, there's a lot of inaccuracies in the video. The one I wanted to point out is with just how ridiculously outmatched one would be against a fully grown adult male grizzly. Bears' major veins and arteries are located much closer to the center of their body than many other animals, so a wound would have to be much deeper to inflict a fatal blow to them. This is why you can see two hulking bears tear into each other and often not see a fatality. Bears are also one of the many mammals that have loose skin which is incredibly valuable for animals to wriggle out of fangs and claws without serious injury, which is something gorillas also don't have. Like Casual Geographic once said about them, God took his time with bears...
It is funny how he compared grizzly beating up a moose which is much larger 🤣🤣🤣 gorilla just takes the moose's antlers and turn it around and there goes the neck .. nothing to compare a gorilla with moose lol
Red Kangaroo vs Wolverine Chimpanzee vs striped hyena Mandrill vs pittbull Spinosaurus vs elasmotherium Female hippo vs adult male gaur Bengal tiger vs 2 African-leopards Grizzly bear vs 2 jaguars Asian elephant vs 2 hippos Mugger croc vs American alligator
This comparison between gorillas and the "top 6 opponents" was educational and entertaining. The inclusion of the giraffe on the list surprised and it is shocking that rhinos and elephants didn't.
@@dariushlarijani8083 I saw a National Geographic show that said they were the number one most deadly in the jungle. I was surprised. I never knew how fast and dangerous they are. Bodies of armour with a sword nose 😳lol. In the video there was a coalition of male lions chilling out cat style in the jungle. One rhino walked, up totally unthreatening, yet all the lions just stood up and casually walked away..... The respect was real.😁
one thing to say about tigers that have not been mentioned in the video, man eating tigers that had to have been put down by professional hunters have proven themselves capable of surviving multiple shotgun blasts and rifle rounds and still being able to pose a threat to an *armed human* hunter.
@@Gigadungpie broski tigers get to over 600lbs, ligers get to almost 1000lbs and almost 10ft tall they are probably way way bigger than you think, they can for sure survive a couple badly placed shotgun slugs
@@Gigadungpie dude even humans can survive multiple shots. there's even humans that have survived getting half their head shot off with a shot gun. belive it or not but most of the time gun shots are survivable. it all depends on what it hits.
@@rampage3337 "The damage varies on location of the hit, and how much energy the projectile leaves behind in a target after penetrating it" to use one of many definitions on how bullets work. If you get grazed on the arm by a 12.7mm projectile, odds are you will lose that limb from the shoulder and down, and the energy is just simply way to high to survive a direct hit. Shotguns are insanely deadly at close range, but for every yard/meter/whatever away, no other weapon has a higher decrease in lethality. The point im trying to make I think is that we (people) tend to look at "gunshots" as a whole, when it can easily be compared to being hit by a vehicle crossing a road. It depends on everything from where you got hit to the speed of the car, or if it was a truck etc etc.. Saying gunshots are survivable most of the times isnt accurate enough to be a general statement. Saying most gunshot cases have a higher survival rate can be true, because in that you can also imply that most gunshot cases are low calibre, wich is the reason for the high level of survival. I know this is a long response for a little nitpicking, im not trying to berate or anything, just simply adding context to your comment.
I think it depends on the individual. Silverback Gorillas can actually weight above 200kg (450lb) so a huge individual can definitely kill lions and tigers. Also you compare the weapons of a carnivore with those of a herbivore which doesn’t make a lot of sense. The main weapons of a gorilla are not claws or fangs but it’s incredibly powerful punches, intelligence, and agility. It can fight on 2 legs and lay all its mass and energy into punches. One hit to the head can be enough to send any wildcat to sleep
You understand that gorillas actually can’t properly punch right? They’re too top heavy and would topple over trying to execute a proper punch, and there’s no way even a 450 gorilla could take on a 520lb lion or a 660lb tiger considering 200lb gorillas have been killed by 100lb leopards. They’re smart but not smart enough to formulate fighting strategies, and lack effective defence weapons against predators
A leopard only attacks baby gorillas and females, but not a silver back. In my country hunters use to tell us stories where gorillas killed lions, so i can't be agree on that
This man said that just because the gorilla had more muscle would not mean he would win, and then said that this fight favors muscle and strength, not intelligence. (Bears)
If size & muscle matter in these fights, not intelligence than how did humans manage to rise to the top of the food chain. Cause we're weak af compared to all of these animals
Bear skin does not cut or tear easily. They can withstand bites from other bears and not even cut the skin. It is stretchy and loose on purpose for this very reason. A gorilla's skin is tight and easily cut, just like us humans. If a gorilla and a bear had a theoretical fight, I actually think the bear would come off with only minor damage, but the gorilla would be cut to pieces and bleed heavily.
And what if the gorilla gets the first punch with full power to the bear's head, before he could react? I mean a gorilla punch has about 1300 - 2700 Pounds of force in a single punch, Wouldn't the bear be dizzy, like we humans? Which then would give the Gorilla all time to break its neck, or however it would kill it? Just wondering, this is no criticism ^^
@@DerBarbarischeGermane I can’t tell if your comment is a joke or not, if it’s not you really think a gorilla would turn into Mike Tyson and start punching? Also another counter argument, a bears swipe is 25000 lbs of force with 4+ inch claws compared to the gorillas measly 2700 lb open handed slap (they can’t punch)
I agree. I have seen gorillas fight. I beleive things as huge as a hippo elephant and maybe crocodile can beat a gorilla. I think they could kill bears lions and tigers, but can also loose. A blow to the head or back from a gorilla could easily crush the skull or break the back.
@@billmitchell7731 Tigers and a few other big cats are known to kill gorillas. However, as you say they hit them from ambush. Big predators don't normally like fair fights.
@@ishouldfindadecentusername6746 I mean, well there you go. If something as small as leopards can kill a gorilla, then a Lion and Tiger surely can. Don’t forget Jaguar, those things r machines with the strongest bite of any big cat
The much more efficient front limbs and it’s ability to use it just like humans, but much much stronger in comparison is a vital part. It will use Hands mostly rather than biting. Gorillas punch and smash like crazy hard. If we are talking about silver male alphas, most of the ones mentioned here will most likely not approach the Gorilla. And also Gorillas can occasionally kill a few of the ones in the list. The big issue is if they are ambushed!
Gorillas have weak punch u r wrong. They have incredible grip strength they will tear u apart. And they can throw u around but they punch like a 15 yr old girl. They r not built to punch, humans are because we are good at throwing and that is the what allows us to punch well. Having huge arms won't help u throw a strong punch at all. To throw a solid punch with force u need alignment and proper use of the kinetic chain. There are plenty of articles that describe this.
Tbh, All of the ones in the list are way too much for the Gorilla A Gorilla is not a Man They have insane Pulling strength and can rip a man limb from limb but has poor fine motor control and shoulder ROM A child could throw a rock further than a Gorilla So it's not as cut and dry And Gorillas only "punch" in the movies The best the gorilla can hope to defeat is a big jaguar/ a lioness And even that in a very very tough fight to the death
@@Phoenix-King-ozai the don't throw combination punches ,no but they fist hammer like a piston..that was the point originally said about punching.. A gorrilla can devestate with his hands.,
problem with this list, is that it is predominantly theoretical... "having bigger muscles"... "wielding larger canines"... "having thicker skin"... being more agile"... "having the stronger bite" means nothing until one pits (sic) a gorilla against any one of those other animals and as well repeating the experiment properly with a control... nice theoretical video tho...
A mosquito can kill a gorilla too. It's flight begins and it assaults with it's tiny teeth where it counts the most. The gorilla might just leap back in grueling pain and say if there was a cliff behind him, he could fall to his death, assuming said cliff was 50 meters or higher and there weren't a bunch of brush and whatnot cushioning the fall.
A gorilla could smash a croc with tools if the chance presents itself. Train a gorilla to use a firearm and none of these animals will stand a chance. Don't discredit the intelligence of a gorilla.
Gorillas are strong but they’re super overestimated There are uncountable animals that can kill a gorilla 😂 The fact some people believe that gorillas are unstoppable ,strongest animals , rip apart anything and all ,makes me laugh every time
The tiger can also end up dying from the injuries led by the silverback If it is not a fight to death the tiger will be more likely to retreat especially from a dominant silverback which is always ready to fight till death actually gorillas are stronger than tiger's in physcial terms and have a higher bite force Since tigers have longer canines then both have same bite effectivness also if the gorilla manages to slam the tiger to the ground it can deal the tiger with knockout blows so i think both can end up dying
@@Gow-enthusiast You haven't seen a size of Siberian tiger or aggression of a Bengal tiger they kill Big Bison single handedly unlike lions, Bengal tigers even tries to attack elephants even though they fail to defeat them and Siberian tiger can kill a brown bear. So you think a Gorilla can stop a Tiger?
I don't think gorillas are meant to kill. Although they can push and punch really hard...bite really hard. But still not as effective as the weapons that carnivores posses.
A Gorilla's prime defense is going to be its size and strength. It doesn't have claws, true, but between how strong it is and how big its fists are, any attacking predator risks taking a blow to the head that could provide enough blunt force trauma that it's left with a concussion and wanders off with its head "spinning." And one can argue that Leopards hut Gorillas, but it should be noted that the main targets that Leopards go after are usually smaller females and immature ones. They're not going to challenge an adult male all that often... and particularly not one that's proven itself against other Gorillas to lead the group.
They don't even really utilize those tools, they're just too passive and intelligent to fight to the death it's all about intimidation. Now... if a gorilla were to punch say the likes of a big cat as hard as they possibly could while charging at full speed I seriously can't see any other outcome other than the kitty going to sleep and possibly dying on impact.
@@limpa756 most big cats are ambush predators. They get really close without being seen and then lunge and kill immediately. If they think they are seen they give up and run away.
@Carlo er There's videos of gorillas managing to climb up trees with no effort despite their weight, they can run 26mph which is almost as fast as the fastest human to ever live. There's even a report of a silverback gorilla literally picking a grown man (a poacher) in the air with one hand and taking his head clean off with but a swipe
Gorillas are immensely overrated, they're like the bodybuilders of the animal kingdom: all show and little to no substance ... 12 animals who not only could but almost certainly WOULD defeat a gorilla in a fight: 1) lion or tiger (maybe even jaguar), 2) rhino, 3) elephant, 4) hippo, 5) saltwater crocodile or caiman or alligator, 6) great white shark, 7) any type of bear starting from grizzly size and upwards (kodiak/polar), 8) walrus or narwhal, 9) killer whale (and beyond), 10) any type of lethaly venomous animal (snakes in particlar), 11) bison or buffalo or moose or whatever giant mammal of that size that animals such as lions or bears or whatever prey upon, 12) anaconda
I went to the zoo once and we had underwater view of hypos. I couldn’t see them because i only saw two boulders in the water (huge rock). When i saw the rock move and i saw the hypos face i was in shock. Its big like a 3 row SUV.
Yup. Hippos are more dangerous to humans in Africa than lions. They can puncture a lion's scull with those huge teeth. They dominate crocodiles and kill all types of animals just because they can.
@@GreenLightSpeed I mean, Humans mostly die from Kangaroos is because they have this Sharp Claw at the end their legs than can pretty much stab people, Remove that and their kicks would mostly just knock someone over with the Human just getting up and beating the Kangaroo since Humans have much stronger arms, A Horse would for sure kill or knock out a Human in a kick
you forget that the gorilla can unleash between 1300 and 2700 pounds of explosive force with a single punch. Plus they can deadlift 10 times their own body weight (a maximum of 1810kg) And you forgot that they have a biting power of 1.300psi. in a nutshell, if an enraged gorilla jumps on one of these animals, it could easily kill it with devastating brutality. but obviously not every fight can be won, plus the gorilla always tries to avoid fights.

The gorilla is massively underestimated here. Hippo, giraffe and giant bears I agree with. The tiger, lion and crocodile (on land) fights are debatable.
Crocs get 21 feet long practically 3 times the size and almost 5 times the weight of a gorilla with the strongest bite force of any land animal. It isnt debatable Croc can easily win.
Claws and Jaws are more powerful, a Gorilla is a vegetarian, so not a carnivore so isn’t a natural predator. Tough and strong, but large claws would cause serious damage.
This was an informative and enjoyable comparison of gorillas vs. "top 6 adversaries". I was surprised to see that the giraffe made the list..and equally surprised that elephants and rhinos didn't. I'm sure they may follow at a close 7&8.
As far as I'm concerned, none of these, alone, can beat a gorilla, except for the hippo, and that's a maybe. Giraffes? Hahahaha... They are the naked Saitama. One punch and it's all over. A fair 1 vs. 1 would be rhyno vs. gorilla. Probably, this would be a loss for the gorilla.
One addition for the gorilla. They are capable of using tools. Such as clubs or spears. This could drastically change the advantages stated. Because this ability in fact is why humans have risen to the top of the food chain.
A gorilla can easily kill a giraffe , when a 500+lb gorilla charges full speed and rams a giraffe sideways the giraffe looses it's balance and falls on the ground which gives an opening for the gorilla to bite the neck. When it comes to lions and tigers it would just throw an enormous boulder on top of them when they are just off guard and crush them. Sharp claws and teeth are the only things which has some chance while fighting a gorilla
no bro gorilla are omnivores they eat both plants and meats but they only eat insects or small animal they can never defeat a girrafe and why should girrafe charge a gorilla girrafe are much faster and they kill gorrila easily without losing stamina and if they dont lose stamina noo chances of imbalance girrafe is the only animal who has strongest kicking power one kick .....gorilla dead.. so if gorrila charges by side then what girrafe will see the charge... bro dont cry it is impossible

Imagine if a gorilla took steroids and a bunch of other performance enhancing drugs and then did strongman workouts for years. That gorilla would be far more powerful and scarier than the average gorilla.
Yk it is interesting to see how strong a gorilla would be with peds and actual strength training. To think the strongest humans on earth can pick up 1100 lb off the ground is insane considering the average person, without training can barely crack 200. I can't say for sure but if peak human strength is 5x stronger than the average then peak gorilla strength might be similar too, although the average gorilla is much more physically fit than the average person so I think it would be a considerably smaller gap
There used to be animal fights in Mexico. Bears vs bulls, lions, tigers and other large animals. Years ago I saw a tape with a bear and bull fighting. The bull slaughtered the bear.
@@scottwilliams8334 I hear mixed outcomes on that. Other sources say bears killed many bulls. Hard to say what's credible though. Bulls are unbelievably strong and durable. Bears are as well.
What about elephant and rhino? Maybe a buffalo? I'm not entirely convinced that a lion or tiger would win over a gorilla without getting hurt themselves. They cannot give the gorilla a deadly bite without the gorilla get hold of it head to head. A gorilla brakes or tear off everything it get its hands on. Yes claws are a great advantage but so are grip with xtreme strenght.
Leopards hunt and kill gorillas. I don’t think there has been a documented case of a gorilla winning against a leopard. Only one where both animals ended up dead. I’ve also heard stories of a gorilla seeing a leopard and spending the whole day running in fear. The reason they are so vulnerable to them is their tight skin, easy to tear and bleed. Most animals have loose fatty skin that makes it difficult for fangs to pierce. I’m sure there are undocumented victories, gorillas beating leopards. But I’m not sure of one yet.
@@kodiakbear3077 Try to understand what I am saying. A cat sneaks up on its prey, ambushes it and gives a fatal bite to its head or neck. Then the gorilla doesn't stand a chance. Leopards also only hunts young specimens. That is is documented. But what if a large silverback must fight head to head? Then you must know wery little about gorillas to believe that a silverback will lose without inflicting major damage on his opponent. I read an article in Daily Wildlife which concluded that a Jaguar would not stand a chance head to head against a gorilla. The gorilla is twice the size and got double bite power by the way. Really big cats like lions and tigers will almost certainly win over a gorilla. Even a silverback. They are too big, heavy and strong. But not without getting hurt it self. A gorilla is large, strong, have grip, it bites, grips, tares and brakes. It must be killed instant for the cat to avoid getting hurt.
@@kodiakbear3077 We must bear in mind that gorillas are peaceful animals that prefer to avoid confrontations and injuries. In addition, they only eat plants. Cats are bloodthirsty predators. Gorillas will therefore avoid a confrontation. But they defend their flock. If a big cat attacks a herd and are spotted by a silverback there will be a confrontation. Gorillas are twice the size of a jaguar and they have twice as powerful a bite. Gorillas can lift up to 1,800 lbs (818 kg) of weight and throw an extra 900 lbs (409 kg) of force. In addition, they can grab and break bones. It can easily grab and lift a big cat. So all I'm saying is that a big cat will have a lot of trouble against a big gorilla. I believe that a gorilla can manage to kill even the biggest cats but gorillas are vulnerable to claws and bleeding, so it will most likely get so badly injured that it bleeds to death.
Gorillas have the intellect to use tools. So I can image a gorilla caving in a lion and tigers head with a large rock. Damn near shatter the cats jaw into pieces. 😂
Gorilla would by easy dinner for bengal tiger😂. Guars would trow gorilla in the air like nothing. Tigers much stronger than gorilla. Tigers much more agile and have better reflex, also bengal tigers on average bigger than this overhype ape's. Chimpanzee packs destroy gorilla packs. Big male tiger would chimpanzee pack flee like small pussy cats. Gorilla would by easy dinner for tigers😂.
First off, you are greatly over exaggerating their ability to “Use tools”. Secondly, the tiger is going to silently stalk and then end up on the neck of the thing before it knows it. Not to mention, like bears, cats have tensile resistant skin that doesn’t rip or tear even against claws of the same species. Rocks aren’t doing much.
@@ProudFilthyCasual I think you're underestimating their ability. Apes of all species have been shown to be able to use various tools. Gorillas don't have a culture that necessitate the use of tools so don't use them in nature. that doesn't make them incapable of picking up a rock in self defence.
@@MXhof-kr5lt A single tiger against a pack of chimpanzees would end up on the menu. Chimpanzee hunting/patrol groups are just as well organised as human ones and they will use improvised weapons as needed.
@@jackvos8047 That's absolutely untrue actually. One group of chimpanzees is said to have entered the Stone Age, gorillas have not. Idk where you fucking people are getting this nonsense about tools. He still haven't done the African Wild dog 🐶 vs Kangal... But I still think the hippo lion tiger bear croc is a toss up unless it's an ambush sneak attack
This doesn't take into account how great apes fight...First of all,if it's another species,it's never going to be one on one with a gorilla.Gorillas will fight as a family when it comes to other species and often just other families of the same species.Secondly, the fact that great apes usually go for the eyes, ears, nose, genitalia, etc - places where the greatest injury and bloodletting can occur.Based on these 2 facts alone,I'd give a gorilla far more of an advantage, especially against predators which don't hunt in packs.Crocs, hippos, and lions are probably the most dangerous to a gorilla, but these predators seldom ever come in contact w great apes.A big cat can be stealthy enough to single one gorilla, though I doubt it would a full grown male.Even a very large bear wouldn't have a chance against a family of gorillas...Just ask a lone Sasquatch, lol.
Since he's listing animals from other continents, then I'll add the moose. They can have spikes on their antlers like swords. But usually they stomp things to death.
generally very interesting video. but a lot of your comparisons remind me of kids arguing who's favorite super hero would win rather than results/data coming from a scientific approach
6:45 Only thing I would add is that crocodiles have survived having entire limbs ripped off, including parts of their tail and jaw. I remember Steve Irwin relocating a crocodile with half his bottom jaw missing. The crocodile was healthy and able to survive in the wild despite having half his jaw gone. I also remember Steve Irwin watching an Alligator with parts of her legs and most of her tail missing knowing the gator, would "make it for sure"-Steve Irwin. Right after Steve Irwin said she would make it the show fades to the title and then commercial break. Crocodiles and Alligators have the ability to redirect blood flow from severed limbs. Their immune system can even repel most types of bacteria that would cause infection. Knowing this has lead people to realize that dinosaurs like T.rex could survive injuries that should be fatal and would be to a mammal. Giving the crocodile another advantage in the fight against a Gorilla. Crocodiles are extremely tough animals even humans haven't been able to get rid of them; though we have come close. Crocodiles will certainly be here alongside birds and some mammals (canines, rodents, and rabbits mostly) after humans are no more.
@@aliganim1288 That is also true, they will rule and serve as a good food source for the birds. Then in the centuries to come man will slowly be faded out of existence. Over this period the animals mentioned by you and I will still have claim and run the show.

Yeah but if the gorilla sees the snake it's pretty toast, the gorilla might pick up a hefty stick and crush it to death.
I am glad that you included the giraffe. Despite how much people underestimate the animal, most people don’t know from first glance or light research that giraffes have been known to behead lions, and ferociously guard their kill or their dead calves.
I couldn't say any better than that bro . Gorillas are too much overestimated and the main reason for that is Hollywood movies .

I think it depends on the individual. Silverback Gorillas can actually weight above 200kg (450lb) so a huge individual can definitely kill lions and tigers. The main weapons of a gorilla are not claws or fangs but it’s incredibly powerful punches, intelligence, and agility. It can fight on 2 legs and lay all its mass and energy into punches.
If it is not a fight to death the tiger will be more likely to retreat especially from a dominant silverback which is always ready to fight till death actually gorillas are stronger than tiger's in physcial terms and have a higher bite force

I don't think gorillas are meant to kill. Although they can push and punch really hard...bite really hard. But still not as effective as the weapons that carnivores posses.
A Gorilla's prime defense is going to be its size and strength. It doesn't have claws, true, but between how strong it is and how big its fists are, any attacking predator risks taking a blow to the head that could provide enough blunt force trauma that it's left with a concussion and wanders off with its head "spinning."
And one can argue that Leopards hut Gorillas, but it should be noted that the main targets that Leopards go after are usually smaller females and immature ones.

A Gorilla hasn‘t got any chance against a lion or a bear… i mean just look on the claws, they eat things that are way bigger thn them
I think the gorilla has a chance if he's not ambushed. The bear I worry about
One addition for the gorilla. They are capable of using tools. Such as clubs or spears. This could drastically change the advantages stated. Because this ability in fact is why humans have risen to the top of the food chain.
They probably won't because that's not what their first thought would be if a spear was next to it
Bruh have you ever seen a gorilla use a spear in combat? 😂😂😂
@@cristianlambert645 bruh king kong
They would probably have to be taught to use weapons. I don't think they'd come up with the idea on their own.
In that case, just train the gorilla to shoot a rifle.

Too beautiful that’s why they’re being hunted to near extinction 😢
Imagine a gorilla on steroids and training vs the concaine bear wounder who would win that fight
What about rhino and elephant?
I'm interested in Tiger VS Grizzly. Seems the closest matchup out of all of these (also Grizzly is my fav)
This may very well be the closest match up between any predators. Could go either way but i have my money on the tiger.
The lion would kick both of their asses. The lion is a true warrior and will fight to the death.
@@brendanribbs3434 a lion would get killed by both more times than not lol.
Bruh leopards have been known go kill them. You think a lion or tiger couldn't? Get real
Would they take damage from a bite? Probable. But I don't see them losing
Now I want to see s 2 gorilla team in full plate mail armor fighting a lion, bear, and giraffe.

Picking up a rock is not using a tool. Tying that rock to a stick and making a spear or hammer would be making a tool.

Yeah, but so can hippos
He still haven't done the African Wild dog 🐶 vs Kangal... But I still think the hippo lion tiger bear croc is a toss up unless it's an ambush sneak attack
the hippo would be tossing the gorilla around like a rag doll.
Elephants can easily destroy every animal on this list.
If a lone sasquatch cant hold it's own against gorillas... why haven't any dead ones been found in the wild
Since he's listing animals from other continents, then I'll add the moose. They can have spikes on their antlers like swords. But usually they stomp things to death.
Not even a bear can take on a fully grown moose let alone a gorilla
A anaconda snake is another animal that could wreck a gorilla in a fight
Instead of a Lion I would put in a Rhino and Elephant so It would 7 animals that could defeat a gorilla
I believe a grizzly bear and polar bear would destroy a Silverback FOR SURE!!!!!!!!
Polar bear is the largest land predator on the planet .
generally very interesting video. but a lot of your comparisons remind me of kids arguing who's favorite super hero would win rather than results/data coming from a scientific approach
You get hard over Steve? 🤔
Ants, cockroaches and rats will rule the world when man is gone
@@aliganim1288 That is also true, they will rule and serve as a good food source for the birds. We often forget that just because an animal isn't a predator it doesn't mean they aren't a dominant species. The toppling of the human race is coming in the next century as tech gets more and more advanced. Soon machines will be running society while man will be still around. Man will not be serving machines like the movies and TV shows would have us believe but humans will not be as important as we once were. Then in the centuries to come man will slowly be faded out of existence. Over this period the animals mentioned by you and I will still have claim and run the show. Then once humans are gone a new era will dawn. It will be unlikely that anything so creative or destructive will ever pass this way again, but for the life that remains mentioned by you and I the world belongs to them. Their children will roam the land seas and skies thinking back in awe to a time when humans roamed the planet with their ancestors. Evidence has shown many animals including birds pass down knowledge over generations therefore we can know that this is true.
Why in the world would a gorilla attack a giraffe!?
