23:52 when Bart says “you are a Cunnie” I felt the love ❤️ between the two of you. I commend Bart for going through what he did as a kid and taking the high road and breaking the chain and raising Taika the way he would have wanted to be raised. I know people that use their past as an excuse to be a horrible person a bad parent and I wish they would learn from someone like Bart that chose to be better not bitter. He is living his best life. Has a beautiful wife and child, multiple successful businesses and a gorgeous home or homes. God heard his prayers as a child. He may not want to think he wasn’t heard but the way his life has flourished I know for fact he heard all your prayers and now you are living the life you prayed for.
These two are really real with each other. Other relationship are so planned out and I can feel the fakeness for views, it's like they trying to be perfect. These two you can feel their real af with each other. I can see them get on each others nerve and how they pick at each others at the same time not taking it overboard. That is call mastering their own love language. No a days any imperfection and the partner either leaves or think that they deserve better.
Holy shit barts self awareness is insane!!! His trial and error, therapy, experiences must have been a lot to be this wise of himself at such a young age
Resonate a ton with Bart and that feeling of not being present. I'm still working on it but what has helped the most is exploring anxiety meds, practicing yoga, and exploring buddhist thought. has helped a ton with being present and feeling centered.
This was such a great episode! I can relate to Bart heavily when it comes to how his adhd brain works and it affects my life a lot. I learned a lot from Bart on how to deal with my “robot ness”. Love you two and thank you 🫶🏽
I usually am focused on my work monitors but the way Bart was explaining his thought processes & linked feelings made me feel SO SEEN I had to stop working and actually watch this episode instead of just listening
Feeling like being in a 3rd person mode is a childhood trama survival trait. You are always observing for danger so you can respond and avoid getting in trouble. It can suck when trying to be in the moment because just letting go beomes nearly impossible.

I love around the 38:12 mark, Bart is talking about being “Meta” and I have that same kind of definition but I call it being aware of self within the given present moment. To me, my perspective especially watching both of them growing as a power couple shows that they do the following:
1. Able to have confrontation knowing that its to become aware, that there is an issue worth solving.
2. Understanding the given emotions within the body (individually) is a trigger that shows up and must be taken care of, in order to not hurt the other person, but more so guide the conversation vulnerably (Kind of like playing catch with a ball labeled by said emotion, instead of throwing it at each other) which Bart gracefully explains.
3. Not taking things personal and being aware of that, and choosing the best versions of themselves to create a path that synchronizes with their interpretation of a better future.
4.Team Rapport, where they know each other individually and work towards a common goal by doing all the above.
Being a Fan of Just Kidding, and seeing how funny and honest y’all get is one of the main reasons why I grew to see many truths as well. I grabbed aspects of their relationship and took the time to reflect and is now taking action in doing the same. Yes, there will always be struggles, but as Bart explained it, you are in charge of steering the boat out of the storm. Also, your the one who learned how to drive that boat through anything in the first place.

I know they barely touched upon it but Bart does sound on the spectrum.....I hope they do truly look into it for Bart bc its usually genetic and if Taika struggles with the same things later on they'll be able to better help him.
