This story even though they've told it so many times, every time I hear it I'm both happy for them and at the same time mad. Only because it reminds me of my story except it mine didn't workout and I ended up losing my best friend who was the truest love I've had.
Why be mad when you can be sad
I've heard this story so many times but it never gets old, nice to see friends blossom into love.
Hearing this story over the last 12 years gets even more and more sad cuz it’s beautiful how they grew together as friends and a couple I love when they have this convo about how they started dating!!!
53:00 made me emotional. i just got out of a relationship that made me realize all that too - that maybe having a family is cool and all that. i literally felt the same way, the disappointment i felt for being so vulnerable makes me hurt until now. but watching you guys for so long and knowing this now made me tear up, realizing that things will get better and someone would understand me the way Bart does Geo. love is great.
what's kinda crazy is that i used to watch your podcast while studying to get into college as a high schooler - i got out of that phase for no specific reason, just started listening to you guys less and less and kinda forgot about it through college. now im about to graduate from UCLA and im listening to this, going crazy because all your moments, dockweiler, big bear, those are places i had big memories and experiences at as well

I wish Bart would have continued from his perspective on how you guys met. He was sharing his perspective and then Geo starts jumping in from her perspective never really hearing where Bart left off. But overall I enjoyed the podcast!

Man, this was dope to listen in on, to get a fuller picture of their story. I was a pretty hardcore JK fan maybe 5 or so years ago, and I remember hearing the abridged version of this story (they started from the snowboarding trip) on JK News. I recently started tuning in again a couple years ago, just checking in here and there, to see what they were up to in life, and now I’ve been watching these two more regularly again. Amazing to see their family, and their progression. Dope episode y’all.

My name is Hanna, I’m 38 and I’m from Sweden…
Even though I know it’s kinda weird to say, I honestly love you guys and have kinda loved you since I first found you, back when you had just started doing skits ☺️
And well, I just wanted to say, that it’s been such an enormous gift for me to ’get to know’ you guys in JK through the years.
I found you guys at a pretty lonely time of my life when I was burned out and feeling like most people in my life just wanted things from me, feeling like a dish cloth that people had squeezed out every drop from.
Finding you guys though, finally gave me the ’friends’ that I needed - it was amazing to find so many people, all being funny, smart, deep, generous, dedicated, passionate, real, open and humble. And I also just loved the fact that I didn’t have to contribute in any way in our ’friendship’, but just being able to recieve and relax. I needed to be filled up with love and inspiration.
And you guys have through the years made an impact on my life in so many ways and on so many levels that it’s even hard to explain and I’m just beyond thankful to ’grow up’ alongside you guys.
You have taught me so much about life, relationships, intimacy, race, culture, friendship, loyalty, personality, business, training, health, comedy, videomaking, being in front of the camera, about psychology, being loyal, raising children and so on.
Not only that, the best thing of all has been being a part of your lives and getting to share your ups and downs and most of all the strong bond of love between all of you.
I’m just beyond grateful that I have been able to follow along you guys starting different channels, being able to share the journey of some people leaving and new ones joining, the wonderful friendships blossoming, the beautiful relationships forming, the magical proposals, the amazing weddings, the strong marriages, the tragic loss of animals, the gaining of children, the beautiful growth, the deep knowledge, the playing, the millions of laughs, ’we’re at the beach’, the heartfelt talks, the impactful learning of ’good stuff in a bad way’, the life changing inspiration and just the never ending love between you guys.
Because of you guys I now get warm inside every time I see an Asian person on the street (sadly, there are not that many Asians in Sweden). It’s crazy to think about but before, I kinda didn’t think anything special of asians, because I didn’t know anything about them… But you guys totally changed that for me. And this is just one of the many, many ways you changed my life.
And I just wanted to say a HUGE ’Thank you’ for everything you are and do! ❤️❤️❤️
(And if you ever want to visit Sweden, just let me know and I would give you all of my recommendations on things to see and do! 100%!)

Once I worked at a warehouse making furniture for universities and hospitals, and i wore my barbell t shirt, and this girl in hr who i NEVER met before was like "oh you watch jk?" I was like :O! It is so weird to hear a reservious talk that way about the Marine Corps. Bart has no idea what the real Marine Corps really is. There are a ton of losers in the Marine Corps. They will be legit homeless people if they didnt have the Marine Corps job. They also pick on Asians too. I heard full blown racist carp everyday in the Marine Corps. This was in 2005 or so. I've been in Bart position and where there was another Asian. They also go easier on one. Bart is legit lucky his friend was there to absorb the racist bs. I also talked to other Asian Marines. They went to the same racist bs. Smh Reservious... it was like Jeremy Lin in the NBA. A well spoken, smart, humble, athletic Asian guy getting treated like me. It really shows. I can be the perfect Asian guy and it wouldn't matter.
