It is such a mixed bag honestly it just totally depends on the person and their work ethic. I've worked with black, white, Mexican, man woman old young etc that were amazing workers and the same that were complete shit. I've worked with people that have been there for 30+ years, and honestly, if they haven't moved up to management by then, theres a decent chance they have a shitty work ethic. Now not all, some just prefer to not manage and deal with that pressure, but there are some for sure. Now, I'm not saying this guy either way is a great worker or not a great worker, what I can say is that most of the people that I've seen that complained to HR about racism, sexism, etc etc were the worst workers. Because even the decent ones would not get fired or even reprimanded. So, you know, I would have to reserve judgement before I said this man got the $$ he deserved and was unjustly fired or some lawyer saw an opportunity and they both made a shitload of money. I apologize for writing a book here.
He seems like an amazing person. Why fire what seems like a great guy after all of those years of employment? He deserves every penny of that and I hope he gains his trust for humanity again. Money is nice but faith is more powerful.
