I will hopefully be taking apart a Type 3 beam soon and will try to get some footage of removing them on it, they are basically the same process to remove as the Type 1 shown here.
Thanks for the great video. Got a question, I bought an aftermarket beam and doesn't have the 2 taps for the steering clamp. How do I know the right setting / angle for the steering box?
Thanks! Your best option in my opinion would be to leave the gear loose until the beam is installed on your car. Then, hook up the steering shaft and tighten the bolts after its lined up, don't forget to bend the tabs over on the lock plates once you're done.
