Welcome to Teal Team 3, life is floaty over here. I'm just about at 20k miles on my MRRs, no complaints. One thing to warn about: make sure you change your 3-way adjusters every month or so. Just click through them and back to whatever settings you have. Otherwise they can lock up and you have to send them to Florida to be refurb'ed.
@@d4neo I enjoy my MRRs a lot. I think they’re pretty difficult to dial in perfectly for safe daily driving, so if you can have a shop help with the tuning that could be beneficial. I have 352 coils and no sway bar, so I have a ton of body roll. Installed myself and have loved them. No issues so far. Kings are great. Fox are decent. Locked Off-road seems to be an Instagram company that’s pushed by influencers, but they’re new so they have to market their name somehow. I’m at the point now where I recommend Dobinsons over Kings because of the availability, price, tuning, and customer service. If I built a race truck, I’d go Kings. Overlanding (or anything similar) I would go Dobinsons.
I just installed my Dobi's a couple weeks ago on my 2nd gen. Just did my first trip with them this past weekend. Insane improvement off road over my previous OME lift. Could not be happier.
We both experienced that same feeling then! Just drove on a road this past weekend that was MISERABLE in the past. The new setup was night and day difference in terms of smoothness. Like I mentioned in the video, Dobs has been slept on for a long time but the come up is real now.
@eastAloverland Unfortunately the fronts are backordered now. I placed my order with Exit Offroad on 4/19 and the stock was off. Luckily they are air freighting some in from Australia for me and 2 other guys that placed orders thinking they were in stock. Hopefully we have them in a couple weeks. Looks like everyone else has to wait until summer (which I guess isn't too far away)
@@ra64mike29 Mine were initially backordered as well but they seemed to get in stock sooner than they originally expected. I was told about a 4-6 week wait time and ended up getting them shipped directly from Dobinsons about about 3 weeks.
Really nice suspension upgrade! Heard you mention a potential 6 month / 30 night review of the Super Pacific - looking forward to that! Appreciate all your content!
@@ra64mike29 I set them to what Dobinsons recommended in their instructions. Haven't adjusted anything else beyond that yet as they feel amazing for what I have driven on thus far.
I'm also looking at getting the Dobinson MRR for my 3rd gen. And the super pacific camper. I want a 3" lift all around do you think stiffer spings will help with that? I can't get everything at once although I wish I could. So one thing at time most likely suspension upgrade from OEM. Looking for pointers.
I told them to give me the "best ride quality" which was probably around 2.25 inches. I think it was too low honestly and actually adjusted the springs up by an inch. I now sit much better in the front. I would have told them 2.75 inches if I could go back again.
@@hunter_pauley Hey thanks for replying man I really appreciate it! From what you are telling me seems to me like the lift heights based on coil weights on their site is the amount after they settle. They seem to specify two different lift values per coil choice: one assuming 110lbs - 240lbs load up front and the other at OEM weight up front. I suspect they might have put the C59-354 coils on your mrr's which if I'm not mistaking yields ~2.4" of lift up front after settling with 110lb - 240lb up front. Given that you have 34"s this might be on the shorter side of the lift you want. I have 295/76r16 which is ~33.4 tire and I think C59-354 coils will do it for me. However I may go larger in tire size in the future so maybe the C59-318 coil is best. Lets see. Im really trying to keep the CV angles low but at the same time having adequate lift.

Excellent to know about the adjusters! Will have to keep that in mind and remember to click them monthly.

I’m glad I found this comment
Do you guys recommend the MRR’s? Any of you know how they compare to kings, foxes, or even locked off-road?

As I type this, camping in a downpour of rain and staying cozy. Thanks for the watch!
I just ordered the MRR's for my 3rd gen last week! Anxiously waiting to rip out my eibach kit!!
First impression of the MRRs are amazing. It looks killer as well!

For how much lift were these configured for and what coil did you get?

@ yes I went with the 354s in the front. Even after the adjustment and playing with the coils, I still ride extremely smooth.
Do you think those sumo springs would help out with sag, when towing my travel trailer?
You’d like want bags in the rear to help with the extra added weight and increasing ride height.
Can I install this on my Subaru? 🤔 how much chopping do you think I would have to do? 😂
Very minimal chopping especially if going with 35s 🤝🏽🙏🏽😂
