I have had Dobinson's MRR's on my 2nd Gen Tacoma for about a few months now and have really liked everything so far. I have Solo Motorsports Upper and Lower Control Arms as well as Dobinson's 2" quickride lift for the rear. I referenced your install video a few times when doing mine too so thanks to you and your Dad!
I put them on my fj 2 years ago , they are the best for overlanding a perfect balance between off road capabilities with soft ride they are softer than stock shocks
hey man I've been following your channel for a little while now, i appreciate all the effort you put into the videos and I'm hoping that next year sometime ill be able to get a 2020 Tacoma. I do have a question, however, what Tacoma should I get, the sport or the off road? I'm planning on off roading quite a bit and going on some adventures but I'm not totally sure if I would need the rear diff lock. What do you think since you have the sport? I know you made a video on it a year ago now I think but I'm just curious to see your view point now.
Hey thanks! I think it depends on what your goals are for the truck. If you plan on heavily modifying the truck go for the sport, if you want an out of the box good enough off-road experience go with the off-road. Over the years of me owning my sport I have never encountered any obstacles that made me say "I wish I had a locker". I've also never been stuck. That being said the off-road trails within 4 hours of me are not demanding at all.
In sw pa I’m glad to know what to set my sights on for suspension. I plan on adding bumpers and stuff eventually. Still have to try to get together, my girl has a bad schedule right now but hopefully I can get in touch and try to plan something at some point. Do you like fishing? I just ended up getting a kayak and would love to do a fishing/camping trip at some point with the taco
Im considering the MMRs for a titan swap for my 3rd gen Frontier. Good to hear these are holding up inntje rust belt....im in northern michigan

Would've been nice to watch you build that grill, great idea to use the camping stove as a grill!

It's pretty awesome suspension! I'd love to fish but I don't have time for another hobby!
