Rob, I believe in the Second Hercules Mini Series, from the early-mid Nineties(?) there was a race that always brought a world to sacrifice to their God, Galactus. I remember that Galactus always returned to a certain sector of Space to consume this world. Than Hercules messed that up in one of his space adventures with that old Skrull he became friends with. While not a cult, this race venerated Galactus represented.

I’m not sure of all the power ups Surfer has had since they last fought but I don’t see why you say Surfer would end the fight so fast. Surfer has never been able to end a fight with Thor and in combat Thor and Bill have been virtual equals up to this point.
I view this Surfer as being equivalent to when he was first introduced in the FF stories, prior to his de-powements by Galactus and Shield's sonic shark weapon and him becoming more of a pacifist, but yes, he wouldn't ever end a fight fast with Thor or BRB unless he was really prepared to kill and did something like turn his board into a flying blade, as an evil version of him did in an Exiles comic. I thought this battle was done well though. Surfer mainly used physical attacks, rather than blasts which Bill and Thor are proficient at blocking and absorbing.
@Travis Watts, in MARVEL's: Annihilation, Galactus augmented the Silver Surfer's Power Cosmic. Pre-Annihilation a cosmic being known as Tyrant told the SS, "Even you, the most powerful of those I captured,..." Among the kidnapped by Tyrant were SS (Herald of Galactus), Morg (HoG), Terrax (HoG), Gladiator, Ganymede, Beta Ray Bill & Jack of Hearts. Post-Annihlation the SS and BRB had a brief confontation and SS told BRB, "Enough! Do not rise. You cannot match me, Bill. Why do you persist?"
Alberto Rojas Yes I bought that Tyrant comic when it came out and still have it. Tyrant was siphoning their power. Still that doesn’t mean he would necessarily defeat all the others much less walk over them. Although SS usually isn’t going all out Thor has gotten the better of him mostly because like Bill there hammers can absorb and redirect energy blast and they are more melee oriented. I heard Surfer had gotten a boost after Annihilation just hadn’t seen any. You can’t go by what Surfer said to Bill because characters say that kind of stuff all the time and even might believe it. But yes it seems as though when in a story together it is implied Surfer is above Bill. I was looking for more of an on panel example of how powerful Surfer had become.
@@traviswatts9082 Tyrant in his diminished form was on par with a Sky-Father. Pre-Annihilation, in Silver Surfer Vol. 3 #82, Tyrant was toying with his foes, after he vanquished them, he stated SS was the most powerful of those that he kidnapped, which Beta Ray Bill was one of the fallen. Then Galactus arrived, that is when Tyrant began being serious, Tyrant is shown with an aura, crackling with raw power.
In MARVEL's: Annihilation, SS encounters a being from the Negative Zone named Ravenous. Ravenous is a conduit of a power source called the Essence/Opposing Force. With the Essence, Ravenous is considered an equal to a Herald of Galactus. At first, SS was hardpressed against Ravenous, until SS created a singularity/black hole in order to escape with Air-Walker another HoG. Later on, Galactus dismisses Stardust and recruits SS to become his new HoG. Meanwhile, when Galactus was augmenting SS's Power Cosmic, Ravenous appeared and Galactus dispatches the SS to handle Ravenous. This time, SS defeats Ravenous with relative ease.
Like I have stated before, in post-Annihilation, SS & BRB had a skirmish. After SS got the better of BRB, that's when the SS said "Enough! Do not rise. You cannot match me, Bill."

Nothing you said or talked about is new to me I knew all that except the part about Ravenous and the circumstances around Surfer’s buff.( I do have the third part Annihilation trade paperback). Thanos stated that Gladiator was the most dangerous of the Annihilators he was fighting at the time but I think Bill could probably take him. I believe the fact that Beta-Ray is a Thor clone makes him a second tier character and would never get the nod over a first rate stand alone character like Surfer even without the buff as long as they were remotely in the same weight class. As far as Surfer’s buff I believe his fight with Thor over the Cosmic egg was after it. You know the one we’re Thor threaten to kill him. The point is Thor and Surfer fights are generally equal and Thor and Bills fights are equal but Surfer pwns Bill. I was looking for a greater DISPLAY of power on Surfer’s part and simply saying Tyrant stated SS was more powerful isn’t going to do it. But I’m good now.

It's funny... Somebody asked me why Galactus isn't drawn as a Corbanite in front of Bill. Had to tell him because we aren't reading from Bill's perspective but our own. That's why Galactus appears human.

It's a fantastic durability showing for beta ray bill, being stuck between two black holes and not being torn apart then still being to throw stormbreaker hard enough to escape velocity
Stardust is a really strong Herald of Galactus if I remember correctly but not the silver surfer strong.
I have never read or heard any real information about Beta Ray Bill. I was a 100% sure he was just a horse.

I think Galatcus doesn't want to face the victims. Its like a Repo man repoing someone's car. Its easier to repo and leave a note than to confront the owner and watch as you destroy their lively hood.
If Beta Ray Bill shows up in the MCU, will he be from another universe or will he have Thunderstrike scene Stormbreaker in the mcu is with Thor.
I get the feeling that they'll give him Stormbreaker. Given that Thor technically has both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker in the MCU at the moment.
@@AlexMercerConsumptio mjolnir is still broken. The one used in a fight at the end what is from the past and taking back in time and return to where it came from.
The way they did Stormbreaker in the MCU is so stupid and should've never been done. I know it's a different universe but come on...
Because now it'll look stupid for BRB to have a Stormbreaker axe when he shows up and obtains it. And it'll definitely be dumb if they end up having a Stormbreaker axe and hammer. What should've happened and would've made more sense is when Mjolnir was destroyed, Thor should've gone and got his battle axe Jarnbjorn made. He could still channel the Odinforce through it. Then BRB could've obtained the true Stormbreaker hammer.

Excellent video. Nobody seems to discuss an interesting point of Galactus' existence. What if the world, and all the people on it, *DESERVED* to die? What if this is a fate that they have *PAINSTAKINGLY* earned? Isnt this something Galactus would know and understand best? Wouldnt this as you mentioned be considered a divine act? When a lion eats a deer does that singular act make the lion evil? Does the lion have to be stopped at all costs? What if Gods will was for the lion to eat deer and more specifically *that* deer? Its no big deal to pull a steak out of the fridge, cook it and eat... But havent we killed and butchered not only that animal but his family, all his friends, and his entire community? Is that ok but Galactus somehow is not? Really interesting questions this asks.

Its seems more likely to see Thor become unworthy/hammer gets broken/lost/used by another/etc more way more then BRB does with his weapon, Seeing Stormbreaker getting smashed or him becoming unworthy seems way more important then the rest of this story to me haha.

If the infinity stones are endless supplies of energy that are powerful enough to wipe out planets, and if Galactus truly hates devouring worlds, couldn’t he acquire all 6 stones and feed off of them rather than destroying worlds?
In order for a multiversal parasite named, Hunger (Devourer of Realities) gain access into the Prime MARVEL Universe/mainstream continuity (Earth-616) a portal had to open from both sides. Hunger tricked Galactus into thinking the energies of the Infinity Gems were the same as those Galactus consumed from biospheres. This eventually led Galactus into collecting the IGs. Hunger mentally influenced Galactus into building the Focusing Crux a device similar to the Infinity Gauntlet. Galactus thought the FC would take away his need for consuming biospheres, in reality the FC was built to let Hunger into Earth-616. Hunger also manipulated Galactus' mind so he couldn't see the true purpose of the FC.
And also, yes, with the IGs Galactus can get rid of the consumption of biospheres.
Godhunter took place before the Thanos Imperative where the annihilators were formed. Sorry to correct you Rob. Great video tho
I've always had a problem with Beta Ray Bill making Thor his bitch when they fought over the hammer. And the reason was 'because it was so hot on the planet they fought on and BRB is used to heat'. Yeah, no. Thor can stroll through the sun.

Theirs also the Squadron Supreme & the Super strong beings. For every super strong bring you have a Universe of super powered being of some form. Marvel got a heap of these beings with no story line. If they could just breakup the universe?
