I hear people saying this story is non canon, but still, I find this incredibly lore breaking. The thought that TOAA is threatened is stupid. What can stop Thanos: Heart of the Universe, Cosmic Cube, Beyonder, Moleculeman, Franklin Richards, Omniversal Court, Phoenix(any) What should have threatened TOAA in this context: Protege, Beyonders, Incursion Why this is stupid: The astral regulator exists in every universe, but can merge with all cosmic entities. That's just Eternity Thanos when he imprisoned all of them. What about the first Firmament being chained outside reality? Unless Thanos can create another incursion there is no issue, but even then, TOAA did nothing anyway, cause it didn't threaten anything. The Marquis of Death did essentially all of this already with not taking over but just straight killing all cosmic entities. The only thing that makes sense is the divergences of Order and Chaos or Death and Infinity/Eternity is what is upsetting the balance of the universe, but then again, there is still the inbetweener; Mephisto is pretty much the inbetweener of Death and Eternity, along with Eon. The Celestials should still be entirely unaffected. There is just of bs this story is saying.
I agree TOAA can’t be beat at all not even the heart of the universe can beat him so why in the world they did this I mean there are many things that could beat thanos
Yeah, dumb. It's also kinda goofy to have all these devices or inventions that can do these things. Who invented them, and why? If possession of stones, gauntlets and astroregulators can make one a threat to the highest order of beings that are far above the beings referred to as "gods", and the devices can give powers to even threaten the highest being in existence... then those devices must have been created by a being even higher than TOAA, otherwise he'd just laugh at them as mere trinkets. When you keep trying to "outdo yourself with higher level threats" in every story, the the power tiers of established characters become meaningless. A true TOAA would just will things into the design he wants without bothering to ask minions to do it, plus he couldn't be surprised by any plot line or scheme because he would have seen the plans unfold before any of them came into being. Otherwise he's nowhere near omnipotent, omniscient, etc. But eh, whatever. It's just a story. The true God of our universe (to which some compare TOAA) has no such "challengers" :). Everything happens according to His design and foreknowledge. He made the writers and artists who made TOAA, and they are all "COMICal" to Him I suppose.

Superman has all the abilities of Gladiator ie bullet proof skin, super strength, leap a building in a single bound (gladiator could jump very very high). DC has never been original. Source wall was created by marvel writers when they wrote xmen teen Titans cross over in 1982. Jack Kirby created Darkseid
David Newhart in reality nothing is original our brain just remixes everything it processes and tries doing the same thing in different ways. It’s weird but pretty interesting look it up 👌
4:19 - interesting they call the 'the one above all' (Marvel's God) here 'above all others'. Given there is also a Celestial called 'the one above all', it would make sense to define separate terms for the two characters in the Marvel universe. :) 4:42 - I'm not sure of my Marvel chronology these days. If Adam became the Living Tribunal, was it THAT Living Tribunal that Master Order and Lord Chaos killed? Or was that a completely new (and weakened) Tribunal?
There is the term the above all others Not the one above all so it may just be an aspect of him similar to the presence having many parts some running the multiverse some interfering some doing whatever his idea of fun is for an omnipotent omniscient being
Yes this version could alternatively mena that the one above all is really just an aspect of oblivion just like in quantum mechanics order comes from chaos aka the big bang and order returns to chaos big crunch rinse and repeat so perhaps this was one of oblivions rare interferences though i wonder why did he not appear in the void or is he beyond even that in a space with no dimension at all a place where nothing can exist i wonder
If the fight between the 1 above all and thanos last more than 2 frames I'll be disappointed in the creation of the 1 above all. He should be able to snap his finger and take thanos power while destroying him millions of time's over before he could say a word.
Sigh .... Starlin makes Thanos into a Hulk like character .... he can do everything and is always seeking after a higher and higher level of power to make him a threat to more and more powerful beings ..... its a bit boring .
I think this story is interesting because I like the stories that involve the cosmic entities, but this one is ridiculous. Being omnipotent should mean that you can’t be surpassed by anyone or anything regardless of the conditions? TOAA, an omnipotent being, created everything. There should be nothing he can’t do. How can he not fix his own creation? That makes no sense. When you’re omnipotent you can do whatever you want. I get that Jim Starlin really likes Thanos, and that’s fine, I like Thanos too, but make it make sense my guy lol. If you need to nerf an omnipotent being to make things in a story more dire, you should probably just write a different story.
Couldn't have said it better myself man, any story where THE ONE ABOVE ALL is in jeopardy of being defeated is just beyond crazy and Jim Starlin really outdid himself with this sorry excuse of a story.
For people who don't do psychedelics comics do not do the strain of being outside of reality justice, it takes a super huge mental tole to process a completely different perspective.

@@incomments2864 do you even know thanos’s complexity? He’s one of the most badass villains there is.
overusing him? am i missing something here hes literitlly dead...2 movies and done...also he was the best badguy so far...we had a gay guy with daddy issues then a robot now we got a overpowered villian finally like w0t
I don’t wanna wait a week for part 2:( it’s soo good
This comic series is nuts and it will be one of the of the series I have on my wall.
8:00 that panel is bad ass how half the body or body part of an alien on one panel is the other half or body part of an alien on another panel.
Right? Thanks, i wasn't the only one that noticed.
Calling yourself "The One Above All" is pretty much asking for Thanos to come after you.
Love Astral Regulator Thanos, he's a Plot Armor device pretty much like Cosmic Armor Superman, so there's nothing to be mad about, he is Marvel's answer to the so-called True Form Darksied.
Feels like I've read this story before. What super duper artifact will Thanos find next.
Horrible writing.
Finally you review this.I was waiting for so long
Every time I hear about a all powerful cosmic entity there’s always a object that defeats them....
Yeah it's just silly
I know right It doesn’t make sense
Thank you for being in my recommanded videos and changing my mind from politic videos.. That was entertaining :)
I’m ready for the next let’s goooooo!!!!! Gosh darn these cliff hangers!!!!
Galatus:bullys thanos
10 years later-by cosmic armor supeman
Part 2 cominģ soon
I actually don't like seeing the living tribunal get defeated. It's sold to us as this all powerful being but has been defeated so many times. I don't get why it even exists when it's powers can be rivaled by Thanos.
He turned off the infinity stones and can’t do the same to thanos? Where’s the lodgic
Awesome storytelling!
Well, there goes me merging with the Mad Titan itself, but the next part is going to be Crazier than ever! Can’t wait.
Lols
Man i'm scared..
Bro we got bodied
The Mad Titan is going to face off against your Master next, uh oh.
@@UltimateMadScientistofHisTime Lmao
Yooo this was amazing
this is a insane comic
This was the most epic video ive ever watched in your channel! Thanks alot sir Rob!!
Idk why the living tribunal is a thing anymore. Every time when its his job to step in he gets whooped. Kind of watered down now. No point to have a character that should literally be second to none. No matter what
Exactly writer's don't respect his character especially Jim starlin only character he cares about in Thanos, You put All the good character's in story and guarantee you thanos would stomp all of them under the pencil of Jim starlin
@@cheeseburgerfreddy6350 i agree.
@@cheeseburgerfreddy6350 yeah, horrible writing.
@@cheeseburgerfreddy6350 Thanos fan boy.
The writer is just a thanos fan boy.
This. Well done Rob
Major nerf to the One above all. Apparently its power comes from the multiverse, and not itself? Or at the least it depends on those regulators to act within the universes? Boo, Hiss
Yep, that is how it is with writers these days. They want to depower the Supreme Being.
@@cainabel6356 Yep it's ridiculous that Thanos was able to do this. Thankfully this comic is non canon so TOAA is still omnipotent in the main Marvel continuity.
dude that was above all other the aspects of one above all
Horrible writing, illogical concepts and story lines
Oh man this is like quarantine Christmas and Rob is santa bringing us the biggest present of all .....THE ONE ABOUT ALL lol.
Marvel writers really very love Thanos!!!
Thanos Plot Armor = İnfinity
Thanks for your excellent videos. They´re so fun and I love your positivity.
Thanos = Xanatos, Greek titan god of death, his whole character is based around death.
Can't wait for the next video.
Thanks Rob!
Thanos hacked The-One-Above-Alls' Inter-Cosmic WiFi Network.
Cant wait for the next video !
Thanos is one of the very narrow set of characters who can stand before the Living Tribunal and defeat the nude judge. If not through overpower, through outsmarting.
Nah just through bad writing, nothing more than that.
No. Thanos needs trinkets to beat cosmic entities.
Amber Heard Vibes 🥴
@@mexicanrodan9978 Definitely!
@@sliferxxxx That's right.
This story is getting better
The living tribunal is in need of a major upgrade I am no longer Intrigued by a giant naked dude wearing a towel on his head, anyone?
Thank you for all of the amazing videos!
Oh almost forgot 😂 DC comics take notes! Darkseid take notes! DC this is how you do cosmic stories! Darkseid, this is how you set goals, then actually accomplish them! This is how you face powerful opponents and beat them...not run like you did against Perpetua! 😂.
Marvel is a carbon copy of DC though. Literally.
@@skinnielee Bro please do research. No it's not. Did you know that superman was copied from the 1930s book "Gladiator"? Superman has all the abilities of Gladiator ie bullet proof skin, super strength, leap a building in a single bound (gladiator could jump very very high).
DC has never been original. Source wall was created by marvel writers when they wrote xmen teen Titans cross over in 1982. Jack Kirby created Darkseid
@@kcopara1
Marvel was never original either.
David Newhart in reality nothing is original our brain just remixes everything it processes and tries doing the same thing in different ways. It’s weird but pretty interesting look it up 👌
@@TL2DSCOUT You took this conversation from fiction to philosophy and psychology in a few seconds. That's one big plot twist.😁 I like it.👍
Rob, I been a big fan of you for a while. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DO A REVIEW OF JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK APACOLIPSE WAR!
Someone you never see: Squirrel Girl!!!
Oh, when the freaking multiverse literally was almost destroyed in secret wars TOAA didn't think it concerned him to act but now it does
This part was Crazy.
Bruh, I swear the power creeps keeps getting crazier each time I watch Rob's videos 👁️👄👁️
Marvel Comics: Mcguffin Conflict.
That isn't the One Above All.
It's Above All Others.
The name suggests a group beyond "the One Above All."
His appearance isn't even that of TOAA.
That was EPIC!
Manipulating time almost always seems to be the only way the 'good guys' ever defeat such stupendously powerful evil beings.
4:19 - interesting they call the 'the one above all' (Marvel's God) here 'above all others'. Given there is also a Celestial called 'the one above all', it would make sense to define separate terms for the two characters in the Marvel universe. :)
4:42 - I'm not sure of my Marvel chronology these days. If Adam became the Living Tribunal, was it THAT Living Tribunal that Master Order and Lord Chaos killed? Or was that a completely new (and weakened) Tribunal?
Yeah, I thought it was the Adam one that got killed
*The One Above All
You are the best comic explainer man. Please do a part three of astral regulator
it's just too much, if I'm infinite or have infinite Power Y would I even have a qural with anyone. Ridiculous
Infinite simply means we as humans can not measure it. Infinite does not mean no limit. Every thing has an end. Time the universe all things.
@@edwardcarballo390 Do u know the definition of infinite?
@@T.H.U.G Lol exactly
Thats why in the comic it is used limit less not infinite
@@sd_104 same thing
Excellent 👍👍
I Never really liked Thanos but this amalgamation is pretty Intense.
This would be a dream movie
There is the term the above all others
Not the one above all so it may just be an aspect of him similar to the presence having many parts some running the multiverse some interfering some doing whatever his idea of fun is for an omnipotent omniscient being
Yeah. It is an aspect of TOAA.
1:53 "Mistress D-Love" lmao
20:18 - now this, is one badass panel to end on, I LOVE IT!!!!!
THIS VIDEO WAS AMAZING
If the fight between the 1 above all and thanos last more than 2 frames I'll be disappointed in the creation of the 1 above all. He should be able to snap his finger and take thanos power while destroying him millions of time's over before he could say a word.
Totally correct.
Man, lemme tell you something. It was amayyyyyyyyyyyzing!
Sigh .... Starlin makes Thanos into a Hulk like character .... he can do everything and is always seeking after a higher and higher level of power to make him a threat to more and more powerful beings ..... its a bit boring .
oh my god.. 12:21 theres a Infinity Gems Mobile over Thanos Crib, dude never had a chance
Yep Starlin has a massive boner for Thanos challenging and defeating entities that should blink him out of existence.
Couldn't have said it better myself man, any story where THE ONE ABOVE ALL is in jeopardy of being defeated is just beyond crazy and Jim Starlin really outdid himself with this sorry excuse of a story.
Perfectly said!
This story is completely mental 🤯 awesome mind blowingly awesome ✌️💚🤘
For people who don't do psychedelics comics do not do the strain of being outside of reality justice, it takes a super huge mental tole to process a completely different perspective.
You don't need mind altering substances to process a different perspective. You need empathy.

Hey Rob,
What do you think about Mordo having the staff of the Living Tribunal in my MCU movie? Wouldn't that make him more powerful than anyone? I don't remember him having it in the comics did he? Also was that weapon of continuity back then for sorcerers to use?
Doctor Strange There's a slightly similar item called the Staff of Polar Power I believe which the Living Tribunal used but it doesn't seem similar to the Staff of the Living Tribunal Mordo used
💯💯💯gotta say thanks to quarantine & givin big rob time to drop drop drop💯💯💯

@@Gettinoverbarrie can he beat Darkseid now in this form?

Does the one above all (presumably the marvel writers) have any real power outside marvel?? My guess is no.
I love how the Living Tribunal doesn't act until he senses someone else has three faces, too. Way to come in clutch, dude.
