You made that kit super clean. The weathering is really befitting for the Earth toned color scheme.
Kinda reminds me of the Battle Damage line of Gundam figures they had back in the late 90's early 2000's
CommandantAlpha I was thinking the same thing. I think it was called battle scarred or something. I actually have the battle scarred version of altron, and it's not too far from this kit looks.

I have been building gunpla for about a year now, and airbrushing, weathering, and modifications for about 2/3 of that. Your channel got me excited and interested about doing this. Working on my entry for the gbwc for next year after the kids bed time. Really hope to meet you and see you there.
Easily my favorite EW custom. Which is saying alot because I flat out depise the Shenlong/Altron line.

If only those arm stands were transparent and articulated! The poses you could get would be amazing!!! Oh and that paint job is so freaking good! I'm about to start my adventure into gunpla and there's a lot i'm gonna take away from this
Great job, the yellow color is awesome, really deep. I often don't like the yellows when they get too green, warm is the way to go. The only critique would be to push your paint chipping to another level by further focusing on area's of wear. Its a bit too consistent (but not by much) focusing slightly more on the outer exposed or scraping areas and ends, and less so on the area's that wouldn't get touched or scraped as easily.
Can't wait to see more like this though, you totally captured the feel of those old EW photos. ^.^ Superb work.

This is suuuuuuper slick looking. Really like the paint apps you've added to it. I have a MG Full Armor sitting on my shelf still in the box. Just waiting for a right time to finally crack it open and let it consume my life.. ha ha. Keep up the good work, man!

You should try and turn the rg Unicorn in to an rg banshee ;) either norn or the base with armed armour and beam smart gun

(Edit) or the normal banshee.

I might consider making a custom sometime soon with an MG Altron, MG Zaku (if one exists) and a few other kits to make the gundam on the front of Linkin Park's Reanimation album.
The chest looks perfect for this.

Hello how do you protect your paint job from scratch and paint chipping?
vegeta8259 do you coat it first with clear gloss? Or that the lacquer paints are just durable? Im using a tamiya acrylic paint and im super carefull with it but it still scratch.. thankyou for the answer

ur work is very good but think of it why the decal look so clean and like no damage or scratch or anything like meanwhile ur whole gundam body have a lot of chipping, weathering and battle damage. the decal makes no sense

Your paint jobs have always been fantastic, but I think you need to work on the damage/chipping you do. I think it really just comes across as globed on paint at the end of the day, when it could be a little more subtle than you just applying full on paint with a brush. Dry brushing is really your friend when it comes to additive techniques to simulate chipping, and with a few passes gives it a much more random design than just some blob shapes along all the edges, and it ultimately looks more natural.
Not a fan of the decals on the dark green parts (the white warning ones on the hands and backpack are fine) but the larger ones on the shoulders and forearms I dont like at all.

vegeta8259 it's just weird for me cause those characters are the name of a mythological god in Chinese lore. Which usually describes as a feminine looking young boy. But anyway still a cool kit.
That's not a mistake. Gundam shows often borrow from mythology.
eviloatmeal, I know it's not a mistake. What I mean is just it doesn't fit very well with this gundam. For me at least
Ah. Yes, you're right! I think it has some significance to the plot? Frankly, I never managed to get that far into Gundam Wing. It's not the most exciting series. :^)
The characters don't actually apply to the gundam itself, it's more of a backstory bit for the pilot.
