Amos' story brought be to tears. how unexpected a story that was but with such a happy ending, so beyond thankful for people like the ones in this video
I had a pet raccoon that had fallen out of an Oak tree in my backyard when I was little and we raised him till he was about three or four years old. We did the slow release into our backyard and he would occasionally come by for Cheetos. One day after about 6 months of not seeing him he came back to introduce us to his babies and we were able to pet on them a little and he was very happy to have his last bag of Cheetos by stealing from the bag I happened to be munching on when he came. Still love you Ricky. 🦝
Either you misgendered "him" or this didn't happen, as the males reproduce with on average about 3 females, and do not take care of the children in any way after mating with a female.
@@tl2402 or maybe this is a rare event where the male takes over the care of the younglings idk how it is with raccoons but tigers have been known as males to raise their cubs when momma died... im just talking out of my ass dont know anything about raccoons but could it be a rare case maybe? who knows
@@Kado1609 Tigers sometimes look after cubs when mum's still alive too! But racoons and tigers are very different.. even if they both have stripes. So I wouldn't count on it.
Wow! What an awesome sight to see that Tiger go from cuddly to defensive about her meal! That should really hit home with people thinking about keeping a tiger as a pet. I Love your videos! Thanks so much! From Susan in Michigan ❤
Thank you for highlighting people like this. You can tell they really care about the animals, and made incredible personal sacrifices for the well being of these animals, many of which have severe trauma, illness/genetic problems, etc. It's easy to look at a video like this and be like, "look at how small that tiger/monkey/bird, etc. enclosure is(as sadly some people have commented), but what people don't realize is just how many rescues(or small zoos, etc.) there are, especially in places like Florida where the weather is nice year round, and how expensive(and time consuming) it is to house, feed, provide medical treatment for, spend one on one time with, etc. these animals, many of which nobody wants, or would even care about seeing in a zoo. People like this deserve so much credit, and need as much help as they can get. Also, I can't even imagine having to take care of that many primates, especially monkeys. Monkeys are synonymous with "mischief", and can get into trouble like no other animal can.
This man is amazing I watch all his shows n broadcast. He reminds me a lot of the crocodile hunter. The passion he has for the animals is like none other.
What an amazing sanctuary!! You can tell that couple really care for the animals and take the time to habituate them. Thanks for sharing. Totally cool I got to meet you at animalcon.
To be able to connect with these animals is truly a privilege. Animals are amazing. Thank you Forrest you made my interest for learning about animals has exploded and I can’t get enough of animal learning.
Forrest you are such an amazing individual. you’ve inspired me to follow a career in conservation. i hope you know that you are respected and loved by many, you’re changing the world
Amazing work from everyone at the facility and I also love to see when biologists that are on TV show real love for animals and nature it’s something that is exceptionally hard to fake the love and amazement at the amazing creatures in the world that we share it fills my heart with joy
When I see videos like this it reminds me of when i was a little kid picking up snakes and lizards just to admire them for a few seconds only to let them go and enjoy this diverse and great world we live in thank you Forest for giving me this insight into your life and your world. Keep doing what your doing your awesome
Ive always had a love for animals, but Forest just has a way to make me want to learn more and more!! Always has great content. So happy hes doing youtube now
Wild to see the tiger just change like that. That's such a beautiful yet terrifying aspect of nature i think more people should know about. Give a little context to why the people lucky enough to deal with them respect them so much.
Thank you for presenting this sanctuary. I’m glad they exist, but I regret the reasons they NEED to exist 😢(hoarding situations, hunting adults for pets etc)
when you ask if all the lil monkeys teeth had been taken out..... so so casual, like its just the norm (cuz it is, I just was unaware) this just breaks my heart. I love to lean but alas some of the things you learn only make you more aware. And tho that "sounds" ideal it is like being an empath....a blessing but also a curse.
Forest i been watching you on animal planet when you first aired. I say your the next croc hunter. Love love what you do for all animals. Especially when you moved 1 large herd of elephants. Gotta tell you when that bull elephant went to his family an there were many including babies it jus put the shivers on my skin. That was a few years ago. Excellent job Forrest
I'll never understand why these types of "sanctuaries" insist on having contact with the big cats and walking around with primates on a leash, it's dangerous and sets a horrible example to others
I came across your channel a couple days ago, the first video I watched was the tour of the Vantaara facility. I absolutely love your work, and love watching your videos! Thank you for this!
Thank God we have these people who dedicate there lives looking after are wildlife it's so precious to us these days far too much killing going on in the wild it's a wonder that the is eny think left with man hunting them into extinction especially predators thanks for what you do your Angeles xxx
Awesome video and awareness to what's going on regarding how people attempt to keep creatures that don't belong in captivity! 90% of the animals u guys showed do not belong in captivity and the horrible conditions and situations they have been found in! It saddens me how people can take a living sentient creature and keep them as prisoners! It's fuxin pathetic and makes me upset! Unfortunately, I've encountered a few people that are like that! I'm happy to see that ur placing them on a platform to create an awareness and educate people regarding these fantastic animals! We share this planet, we don't own it!!!!!!!❤
This video is amazing! Made me cry several times. It makes me happy knowing some animals get the opportunity to be loved and live a happy and healthy life 🥰
Forest, thanks for using your platform to bring attention to sanctuaries like this! Also please do a video where you react to animal fights in Far Cry 4 and 5! 😊
Absolutley great video. So sad and then fun at the same time. I love the way Forrest sat on the ground like a little boy! 😊 Such amazing animals. Beautiful and sweet. This foundation is by far the best animal rescue and preservation on the planet. Wonderful people with the biggest hearts!😢 If i wasn't on disability, I'd give them so much in donations.

I feel like animals know they are sick or unhealthy and truly appreciate you taking care of them when you do. Especially young ones, they always seem to be the most loving after being rescued
Please come to India.....There are many wild animals in the zoo kept in very short cages and bad captivity and also I appreciate your work.......love from Discovery ❤❤❤
Hurricane is a beautiful example of how to properly tend to a wild animal in captivity. Even if they are "safe" you have to know boundaries, body language, the species as a whole, the individual's personality... all of it. She is a wonderful tiger and her care is amazing as well. A good girl
This was really great to see, albeit heart breaking how these animals got here. But this foundation/family are doing great work and I hope they can keep it up.
Shout out to the lady for rescuing these animals and showing them care and kindness and love.
