PLease go to Blok M area, find a place called "m-bloc space". You can reach Blok M area using the MRT.
Go to Bandung,Lembang,kawah putih,Tea plantation,Ranca upas park
Jakarta known as a 1000 mall’s city.
If u want to have a mall hopping, u can try Grand Indonesia ( one of the biggest mall in Jakarta) with Plaza Indonesia a very high end mall just in front of GI. Just in front of the mall u will find ton’s of street foods.
Astha & Pacific Place in SCBD area has another amazing ambiance.
Better stay ini Thamrin or Sudirman area. They have many business hotels that has good low price.( just brows it).
From there much easier for u to explore 4 other area in Jakarta. U can use the MRT, TRANS Jakarta Bus or KRL train if u want to explore the suburb area of Jakarta. U can go from Dukuh Atas station. Or you can just walk around from Thamrin along the way to Sudirman area. There are nice, clean & big pedestrians that u will love to stroll around in it & watch the hustle bustle of Jakartanians .
Or you can stay around at Jl.Wahid Hasyim in central Jakarta where there are a lot of nice economic hotels to.
Trans Jakarta also has a free tour bus, so u can side seeing around Jakarta for free, with nice bus in air condition. You can take the bus from Plaza Indonesia station. Try the MRT also, to reach many area in Jakarta ( from central to the south), it’s cheap, fast & very convenient.
And you must go to Pantai Indah Kapuk ( PIK 1 & 2) the location near the airport. It’s an Asian culinary heaven. Go there in the afternoon to evening so it’s not to hot, coz it’s beach area. And the ambiance will be nicer. Go there with Grab Car Or Gocar.

Eelarly April I'm 2 nights in Jakarta b4 heading to North Sumatra, this was a nice video to help me find my way.
Currently the old city area is being renovated to be more tidy, and will be returned to the 17th century when the Dutch were still in power in this city. So the vibes will be more European. I hope you can come back again after the renovation at the end of July

People asking tourist for photos are not only in Indonesia.
I am an Indonesian, and people were swarming in Morocco when they saw me. They thought I was a Japanese and they asked to have a photo together. I don't look like a Japanese at all, my skin is brown. Apparently they have no idea at all about Southeast Asia people.
The gf is beautiful & cute. Actually most people would skip and go straight to other islands like Bali/Komodo

I wonder why there are no grab cars, only bikes. Emilia was not happy with the ride. The place looks great. I think I can enjoy it there. I always wonder what's Indonesia is like. 👍
There were grab cars, just takes a lot harder to travel quickly because of the traffic

Food is cheap in Indonesia, try dine in a restaurant. Perhaps you try explore the wet market, go for a body massage, visit a mosque or Chinese temple, places of attraction.

Depends on your budget but I used a Sony A6400 as my first camera! It’s great not that heavy at all, and a quality camera!

It is very common for Asians, including Indonesians, to ask for a photo with a foreigner. So get used to it.
Indonesians are known to be the friendliest, especially to foreigners. But stay alert. In any country, there must be people who act bad or have bad intentions.
we wanted to have a layover in Jakarta but only heard that Jakarta is not worth it at ALL, so we skipped it..
if you love food, little bit of colonial history, heaps of shopping malls and traffic jams then Jakarta is the place to be 🤪

We like to save money and the place we stayed was perfect for us, we don’t really need much luxury even if it’s cheaper but occasionally it’s nice to spend a bit more money

Indonesia has a different vibe than the Philippines. The language barrier is the problem when you go in other country in asia. Just like the Philippines it is easy to communicate.

Oh so i guess you have no clue of indonesian history saying it looks like the Dutch this and that...the Dutch ruled Indonesian for over 300 years! I think if you travel that far you should know a bit about the country your visiting!
My apologies, when you travel you often learn about a place when you visit it not before you go, that's one of the reasons you travel to learn about other countries culture and history! :)

Bro I don't mean to seem like a troll on your video, but I felt I needed to find a video about Jakarta and share this message.
I literally had the eeriest dream just now. It was like a dream/newscast/ vision all in one. I saw someplace in Jakarta, Indonesia, like a facorty or plant area getting hit by some kind of nuke, and different flashes of images/clips of people just falling down as if they were hit by extreme radiation.
Even inside a militarily helicopter you just saw the soldiers sitting normally and in another clips they were just hanging out the door of the helicopter as if unconscious. Not sure what it all means, but it felt so surreal, like a broadcast. Knowing the tensions in the world right now, I encourage all reading this to pray, about what I can only inspire you to figure that out and for all of us to repent and get right with God, and since me being Christian, that only God, in whom we must place our complete trust in is Jesus Christ.
Humanity can be very destructive, nothing is off limits. The Holy Spirit soon withdraw from this world.
