To keep passwords you need to take backup with encrypted option enabled, i have mentioned about that in the video, please check it

Restart pc and then try
Change cable or port, or both
Reinstall itunes

when i click on retore iphone they say "there was a problem downloading the software for iphone. the requested resource was not found." :(

No code is required in restoring backup, you probably have changed any settings while taking backup? Did you encrypted the backup while taking it?
