Yeah, Standard Occulus plays 3 Kiora the Rising Tide as the 11th creature worth reanimating AND the 11th card that fills your graveyard (at least if you don't include the surveil lands and Consider as graveyard filler, since they only mill half a card on average)
I will take the L on this one, my bad. I built this a bit before the Oculus decks were really getting prominent and don't have a lot of opportunity to test in my local area. I will eventually get a comeback with a solid list that can get some wins!
I play a ton of this deck and this absolutely does not have enough threats. I'm on a build with Tamiyo and Nethergoyf as additional threats and it's felt really strong
All I want is to see what Phil cooks for Ketramose, The New Dawn when Aetherdrift drops. I'm thinking main deck surgicals with his format experience could be insane
Still think Aether Vial is clutch in this deck. You can just turn 1 vial turn 2... sit there with one of the counterspells ready and then put frog in for free. Also it scape the occulus sitting in your hand.
