Hooking a BIG Tarpon while fishing from a kayak!!!

Hi Everyone, this video is my experience hooking a huge tarpon while I was on one of my first kayak fishing trips. Tarpon are big, strong fish that jump clear out of the water making catching them in a kayak a dangerous proposition. This was truly a battle and I hope you enjoy the video.

hey man, don't feel bad about losing that fish. I hooked my biggest tarpon at the beach by accident, I was using a lighter tackle like you. That tarpon almost spooled me in 1 minute. Btw, It also proves the charm of kayak fishing. Lighter tackle still got some chance to land big fish. You are doing a great job!
