That may be the most incredibly touching video I’ve ever seen! I cried. That this lady from want of a job started a business with those around her in Africa who had a talent that was going unused as was hers. Together they have strived to share their art with the world with such success. “From a tiny grain of mustard seed”. Her faith in native craftswomen and men and all of their artistic natures being used together for such splendor. Hopefully I can afford wallpaper for my tiny bathroom from their design. Thank you for this.

These pieces are gorgeous! As long as the artists are being paid fairly for all their hard work, I’m glad it’s being shared. They all have incredible talent.

I was blown away by the deep symbolism and meaning of each piece. The pangolin touched my soul, rolled up, protecting itself. The message of hope in the later big piece of secretary birds triumphing over snakes is so powerfultome, here in New Zealand amid the disruption of Omicron .

WOW. This is incredible. These two were meant to meet and they have so much in common. On top of that, the artwork is phenomenal. Fee Halstad is very humble. She absolutely did teach everyone around her and made their lives better, including a girl with polio who was unable to do any other type of work due to her illness. She's done a LOT for people and I'm so glad Stephanie pointed that out. (skilled interviewing) I recommend googling Ardmore work. There is a pangolin vase that is so stunning; the tales of two of them are handles.

I must admit that I was left with my mouth open when Fee showed the traditional Zulu pots that were hand coiled and fired in cattle dung. Our Native American Pueblo pottery from New Mexico is made in the same way and is very similar even in design! I thought our Pueblo people came over the land bridge from Asia, but the pottery is so similar to the Zulu, that I have to wonder if there isn't common ancestry. I tried to include a picture of 2 of my black pots, but guess that's not allowed in these comments. However, if you Google Pueblo black pottery or Santa Clara pottery, you should see some examples. The similarities are amazing. This was a wonderful vlog. I've seen some Ardmore pots before, but never paid much attention to them. Now, after hearing about the history, the people who make them and the entire back story, I think I will be searching for one for myself!! Thank you!
