I grew up next to Naugatuck State Forest....in Beacon Falls, CT. There's a place up there that I think only my generation knows about...we called it Submarine Rock. It was a 50 ft (or so) Rock overhang with a large rock formation under it that looked like a submarine. There was a turret in just the right place and a hole below the turret that we could climb down into. It was a good sized formation and very cool. I keep thinking of going up there again one of these days, but....I don't live in that area anymore and never quite get there...lol. It's somewhere to the East of Old Windy....if you know where that is 😉
Narragansett State Forest (said in the narration) or Naugatuck State Forest (title of this clip)? It seems something was overlooked in editing. *Beacon Cap is located in Naugatuck SF in CT.
