Julia - me and my 6yr old daughter enjoyed watching a few of your videos today. It was such a joy to hear my daughter say "that looks good" to a dish with veggies! You are inspirational and a bright light! Thanks for putting yourself out there 😊
Your energy is exactly what I need to power through a day of way too many responsibilities. Thank you for that boost of motivation! Sending you lots and lots of love! Have a wonderful festive season ahead!
9:52 I can totally relate to an orthorexic past. I mean, I still eat healthy and make sure I get my nutrients in but now white rice, baked goods with sugar, frying with oil or salting my food well no longer seem like anything wrong. Life is so much better now...
if you can find it, the plain Silk half & half is the best coffee creamer. it's coconut milk and oatmilk and so creamy, and it foams up BEAUTIFULLY and so thick. also making granola tonight thanks to you, to use up odds and ends in my cupboards!
12:12 I definitely prefer almond milk but coconut milk is very nice as well! I usually buy plant-based milk from alpro and this russian brand "немолоко" because I live in russia, omsk and it's literally the only two brands of plant-based milk that we can find here🤡 (but I think oat milk and soy milk from alpro are probably very nice as well)
Hey I totally love your videos and creativity. It would be really cool if you made a website or like a squarespace where you post all the recipes and advice in general ! :)
Oat milk is absolutely the best... chobani oat milk is heavenly creamy! I have heard macadamia milk is amazing too. Thank you for eating curry for breakfast and just having no rules around timing if the day and what you are allowed to eat. Such an inspiration.
I love to track my calories/macros a couple times a year for abt. 5 days just to see if there are any gaps that are making me feel off like lacking protein and it also shows me how the number of calories doesn't matter it's all about HOW I FEEL. I used to struggle with protein and my body suffered but I started focusing on adding more protein and my body feels so much better. It's crazy how some weeks my average is 2500kcal while other times it's 19-2000kcal and I feel perfectly normal and happy with both.
Oh my good Tamari is sooooo good. I love having it on top of jasmine rice wifi quac on top and some tempeh bacon and tofu scramble sooo good. Highly recommend omgggg
Your videos are so inspiring. I’m trying so hard to have a lower budget on my grocery shopping and also to not waste the food and use it efficiently. And you’re great at doing that. I’m learning a lot!! So thanks so much! Lots of love from Costa Rica! 💚
9:27 I am not doing very well with tomatoes recently so my mum made a completely tomato-free curry recently and it was awesome anyways! She used tamarind paste for that acidic-sweet touch tomatoes normally provide.
Your content screams positivity and self-love. I've been following you since the start. The way your channel has grown is beautiful, you deserve so much more! Also I could see the difference in the video quality. Congratulations 60k and I hope you're good :)

Thank you for sharing what foods you were afraid of! Takes guts dude ! You da best !healing thoughts !could you share on some more things you did “wrong” as a vegan?
Only love this so much as usual 😍❤️ my absolute fav plant based milk is the Silk cashew vanilla o you gotta try cashew milk the best in coffee like wow. Game changer 🤗💕😘
i absolutely love the alpro not milk oatmilk it’s soo good. another plant milk that i used to love even as a kid is hazelnut milk but i haven’t had it in a long time. for baking etc i prefer almond milk bc it’s lower in calories
Jilia! Thank you so very much for sharing your meals during a week and lots of inspiration and positive Energy!❤️ P.S. red cabbage + spices (smoked paprica, garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, chili paper) = just such an insane combination🔥
Oatmilk is the best milk for sure. I reaaaaally like the brand 'Oatly'. I think it's Swedish. Don't think they sell it in Canada or the US. But they do in Europe and omg. It's soooo creamy.
I’ve never tried an above average oat milk (it’s hard to find in Costa Rica) but i love the silk Soy milk that has no added sugar :) it has 6 grams of protein per cup!!
I agree with you; oat milk is superior! However, my fave brand is the one I make at home 😂 I purchased a 16lb bag of oats a few months ago, and what better way to go through that oats than to make oat milk?
@@juliaayers111 I live in the states and we have an Amish family that operates a grocery shop nearby. They have all kinds of vegan friendly goodies, including SUPER LARGE quantities of nuts and grains.
Homemade cashew milk is honestly the creamiest and my favourite. It's the only one I can drink straight from the bottle (plus I get to use the leftover pulp in many recipes). As far as store bought goes, the next best thing is Oatly Oat Milk. I find it doesn't have that weird after taste that other oat milks have. Edit; I'm a bit biased since homemade cashew milk is also one of the key ingredients to making my favourite alcoholic drink of all time - Vegan Irish Cream
For me cashew and oat milk from Silk are the best plant based milk😋🤌 (i didn’t tried many different brands tbh so if you have any recommandations🙄😂)i feel like they are good in sweet and salty recipes and even in coffee ☕️😌💖

Im pretty sure I’ve tried that one your talking about! It’s pretty damn good but the one I brought randomly was truly the best tahini I’ve ever had lol! Damn Mitchells and there peanut allergies.. lol!😂
I agree with you. Oat milk definitely the best tasting milk it's also the best for the environment my favourite brand of tried so far is probably Earth's own
Hey Julia, Do you have some tips to switch from an orthorexia mindset in to intuitive eating? I personally struggle a lot with wanting to eat healthy and intuitive and at the same time struggling with eating to much unhealthy food. I am overthinking everything I ate and I want to enjoy eating again, but it is so difficult. I really like your videos and I hope I can have in the future such a positive mindset as you. Thanks
I'm weird I like almond milk over every other milk. Now there are a few brands of almond milk I don't like but for the most part, almond milk is my favorite. Oat milk for coffee is better than almond milk though for lattes.
I haven’t fully looked into it myself, but there is a concern about the arsenic in oat milk which would be an issue for anyone who consumes it regularly. But I agree! Oat milk is the best milk, especially as creamer. Love you 💗
