Hi JazzMentlists...if you missed Part I of this Chick Corea deep dive, here it is ruclips.net/video/EePy19jKMV8/видео.html. I play it for you at 07:45 time stamp. Do try the montuno bass for left hand. It's a fun one. I love Chick's compositions and playing, so I eat this stuff up. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Let me know. If you are new to this channel, Welcome to JazzMentl! This channel is 1 year old now, and we cater to intermediate and advanced players only. I've always liked this tune and I appreciate this little excursion into the inner workings. Now I am headed back to view part one. I can tell I am going to be busy trying to view and digest all your previous videos. I'm sure I won't be able to get it all, but some of this is accessible for me, and even a fraction of your content is a nice addition to my intermediate-level plying. Liked, subscribed and excited to have you on my side!
Yah, I hear ya. I break down Montunos in this video, maybe it's something that could help you? Check it out ruclips.net/video/EekXPNQT59c/видео.html And welcome to the channel Jack.
Hey there, I'm starting to learn how to solo and improvise. I can do some basic stuff, but I don't really know how to do the advanced rhythms like you do and jump between octaves. Do you have some tips on how to improve besides "just keep trying"? Thanks in advance!
Hi Yarrin..welcome to Jazzmentl. You have 3 options. 1. Look at this playlist to see if anything matches your level ruclips.net/p/PL1UIy7xJUY-Gw1fimRy24Wcnn9GvMfe7- 2. I just started a beginner course and the series will include tutorials on soloing. The series builds on each skill 3. Send me a video of you playing and I could see what level you are at and make specific recommendations Hope this helps! 🎶
Here is the 1st lesson of beginner series. Make sure you subscribe to be notified when #2 lesson in this series goes live (likely this Tuesday) ruclips.net/video/vxwyEO47fcQ/видео.html
