I think that this was the album Slowthai needed to make. Like I feel as though he’s proud of it and he wants people to enjoy it but at the same time it doesn’t matter to him cause he’s been able to express these sides of himself in a healthy manner

i think the way the album progresses creates a really cool dichotomy between the more agressive vs intospective thai. theres even the fact that the first seven song are in all caps and the second half are all lowercase. He even dropped two singles from each half so i think its a really cool balance
I’ve been tryna put people onto UK rap (grime) since 2012, with very limited success. Mainly because of the accent and people refusing to accept it for what it is. We all do agree they have some of the best production!
To me the accent makes it more interesting! Maybe because I'm not American nor British, english is not even my language so maybe that's why from my perspective it doesn't sound "weird". I can enjoy both American and British rap to the same extent. Surely the accent isn't a problem for me, but to each their own I guess

This album is great. Songs kept growing on me. I love the change of direction compared to his first album and the evolution. If you want the first album vibe then you'll be disappointed.
