I change my mind, this sounds like a soundtrack from The Witcher. Walking around the open world in front of you, meeting a huge Griffin and chopping it's head off then continuing the adventure

To me, Hurdy Gurdys can be best described as medieval e-guitars XD
They lend themselves _so_ good for folkish metal stuff due to that.
Or like here, just good old Iron Maiden.
Imagine walking home at night through the forest and then you start to hear someone playing music, and you just see some woman play a hurdy-gurdy on the path..

I often wonder what the writers of rock and metal songs make of all the weird, but truly wonderful, covers that people are recording, often 30, 40, or more, years after they were written.
I can't help but think that Steve Harris would never have considered the possibility that, 28 years after he wrote and recorded this song with Iron Maiden, a girl in Poland would record an instrumental cover using a hurdy gurdy.
