Hi Wendy, I love this painting with crystals that you did. Simpy beautiful. I have a question about shipping. What do you use for the layers, and specifically the initial layer of packing to keep the glitter on the painting. Thanks. Looking forward to more glitterart from you.
Just love your artwork Wendy! Now to get hold of some liquid glass! I did a tiny tiny canvas just see if I could do it and it was ok. Trying to get up my nerve to the do the bigger canvas, and neighbor wants one, no pressure there. 😳😉😆. Oh and also Wendy if you see this, where did you get the candle holders you have at the end of the video?
She has a video where she brings up these candle holders on her channel
Thank you so much! No pressure. You can do it 🥰
Nice work Wendy!
Thanks Judy girl! 😘
Wendy I luv ur creativeness I have a request to see u do 24x48 canvas with greys and white with hints of gold in it more like a marble affect can u show me please
Thanks Natasha! I plan on doing some larger canvases in the future. I normally only do smaller for the purposes of RUclips videos but have some repurposed bigger ones in my garage. 😘
I was just thinking of you last week wondering where you were! Glad to see you back. 🙂
Thanks Karen! 😘
First, let me say how much you’ve been missed. I’m always checking to make sure I haven’t missed an upload. I scared my dog when I squealed seeing that you had a video up. Welcome back, Wendy! You always brighten my day with your amazing creations. This piece is beautiful. I’m so in love with the jewels you used. I can’t wait to see more!
Thank you so much, Sharon! I had to giggle about your doggo 😂😘
love this. do you prep your canvas with gesso first or just go for it? also I see you use liquid glass and also use Elmers glue does it make a difference ? Didn't think Elmers would be strong enough Your work is just awesome thank you sorry for all the ?
😍😍👍👍👍👏👏👏
Wendy, I’ve enjoyed making these so very much. Thank you for sharing your talent. One question. If I want to darken the turquoise after the original color dries,is it possible? Thank you
Did this one a year ago - nice to see it again....
Sensiblemente espectacular de todo mi gusto, Wendy por favor me regalas el nombre del líquido que utilizas para pegar las piedras. Lo quiero hacer felicitaciones por ese bello arte, bendiciones. Saludos desde Medellín Colombia
Hello Wendy.... Been waiting to find a video like yours so I can try my hand at making some glitter/bling paintings. I have a couple questions: What type of paint do you use? Acrylic or oil? Also, I'm assuming you let the Mod Podge dry before you apply the Liquid Glass??? And then do you immediately add the glitter and gems and crushed glass to the Liquid Glass before it dries? thank you.
💕💕💕💕💕💕💐💐💐
What can you use instead of liquid glass, I am in Canada, and can't find it anywhere, your work is beautiful.
Hi Wendy, this is absolutely gorgeous. How long did the liquid Glass take to dry after adding the glitter?
Thank you so much, Michelle! I like to give it a good 5 hours to dry before brushing it off.
Just wondering why mod podge is applied on the painted canvas; I’m new at crafting
Oh my Wendy I think I'm in love 😍 absolutely stunningly beautiful! Looks so classy hanging proudly on your wall. Liquid glass is quite expensive to buy in the UK do you think elmers glue would hold my crushed glass and glitter or would that not be strong enough to hold them all on xx
Thanks so much 😊 I actually use Elmer's glue on some of my pieces that I video. I gave a piece to a friend about 2 years ago, and it's holding up really well!
@wendydevereaux Oh fantastic thank you Wendy. Should I leave the glue to dry overnight before brushing off x
@@karenmclaughlan9128 Yes, let it do its magic overnight. It’s also a bit thicker than the liquid glass, so maybe practice on a piece of cardboard just to get the feel for making the icicles. This is when a smaller craft brush is very handy to get those peaks nice and sharp. 😘
YESS
Hello 🤗i love it!! How did you prepare the canvas before? And are those acrylic colors?
Thank you so much! No canvas prep and, yes, acrylic paint 😊
What product can be used in place of liquid glass? elmer's clear glue or mod podge? I have seen others use these. I'm about to start a glitter canvas today or tomorrow. 12/15
I just saw this under. Make it work Channel
👍🙏
Hi Wendy where did you buy the your liquid glass and cut glass.
Hi Wilma! There’s a link in my description box for the liquid glass and crushed glass from Michael’s
I know it is a challenge to try to come up with a new idea. I have taken a couple of breaks too. Now only do one video every 7-10 days. 🙂
good day. how much is your painting?
Can we use resin instead of the liquid glass
Absolutely! I don’t use it right now because of my doggo.
Good morning From Ga USA! Wendy why is my glitter sticking to canvas where there is no glue? I let it dry for a day before I put clue/glitter on. Thank you
Hi Linda! It’s most likely static. When my piece is done and ready to hang, I use a dryer sheet to wipe the canvas down and then vacuum it all off. The dryer sheet takes the static out and then the vacuum sucks it up. That’s the way I dust them off too 🥰
@@wendydevereaux OOOO! Thank you so much. I’ve probably done 6 of these in two days. Just love them. Appreciate u
