I have been looking for something to hanging in my newly decorated silver and black bedroom, but have not been satisfied with what I have found. So I decided I would have to make it myself. When I came across this video, I knew this was exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much for making this and putting it where I could find it. You are a painting goddess.
I'm so glad you are here ...I really miss you when I don't see you for awhile 😕...this is perfect for an upcoming anniversary gift for my sister in law..25 years so silver it is
Thanks! The liquid glass is similar to resin. I mention in my videos at the end that I use the soft brush on my vacuum to finish cleaning them off. It works great! 🤗
You can't go wrong with this technique. I have done several with different colors and different techniques They all turned out good. Just experiment .😄
I am new to the whole painting on canvases art, and was always intimidated to even think about it 😅. I love and do alot of arts and crafts but always thought painting on a canvas should be a natural scene or a mixture of paints in an artistic way, which is a talent I never had. Your method of painting opened a whole new world for me! Now I can’t stop thinking about doing these paintings. Thank you for making it super easy and simple to follow ❤ One small request: can you please do a similar painting with (champagne gold, silver and pearly white, and an all black crushed glass? Thanks again for letting me enjoy your wonderful work.
Holy buckets! I thought that was a mirror. Idk. That looks like extreme talent. Would love to try this because that is one heck of a show PC. Big impact very affordable. That's it off to Michael and jo Ann Tom. I hope I can. do this. Thanks for sharing your TALENT DANA FROM PA
What do you use as a hanger?... On the one you did with the paint sticks and dowel rods you used gold as your color you used command strips?Which kind ?....
I’ll give it a whirl in a future video 😊 I’ll have to come up with something so that you can clean the mirror without the glass and glitter getting in the way 😉😘
Hi wendy I love your work but not sure what to use for glue. I saw one time you used almers glue and o e time you used mod podge and you also used liquid glass witch I can't get. Some times you have put a clear coat over the paint. Also do you put something over the glass to protect it. Thankyou Victoria from Canada
Thanks Victoria! I’ve used the Elmers glue and mod Podge because some of my viewers can’t get it but, you, living in Canada can easily get it. I live in Canada 🙂 I order mine from Art Noise: shop.artnoise.ca/search?type=product&q=triart%20liquid%20glass* When I use mod Podge over my paint it’s only because I want a certain type of finish. I’m partial to the satin finish, but also like the gloss finish. I don’t put anything over the bling when I’m using liquid glass.
Thank you for this amazing tutorial. Can you recommend a substitute to liquid glass? It’s not available where I live and the shipping from canada cost so much. Is liquitex as good as liquid glass?
Thanks Sehar! I find Liquitex too runny. Of course resin works (if you use it) but I can’t use it because my doggo - he’s way too sensitive to it even if he’s on a different level of the house. Mod Podge works, but it takes the extra step to seal the crushed glass and glitter with another coat of Mod Podge after the initial coat dries. I think I’ll do a video very soon using the Mod Podge 😘
Thanks, Jeannie! Depending on the look I’m going for, I will sometimes put Mod Podge either the shiny or satin finish. If I’m mixing metallics with non metallic paints, I don’t.
I love you art .. its amazing 😍 I do have some questions if you have time for that 😅😅 1.what can I use instead of the Liquid glass? because it's not available in my area. 2. When do I use mod podge? 3. How to maintain my paint? Like just leaving it exposed like that won't ruined it with the time I.e. the crushed filler glass to fall 🙈😅😅 I guess this are enough for now rest questions next time 😅😅😅🙈
Please accept my apology for the long comment😅 As am new your channel and has no experience with acrylic paint before but I love it😍 .. soon will share with you my first work ever😅
Thanks for watching 😊 That’s a tough question because it’s personal preference but, personally, I’d use warm whites rather than bright whites. I might even use a very pale tan colour. Gold comes in different undertones as well. I tend to gravitate towards the golds with brown undertones rather than bright yellow. One of my favourite gold glitters is called Riches (Recollections brand from Michael’s) Hope that helps! 😘
Would it work when laying down liquid glass to do it in sections instead of all at once time or to make icicles in sections so they do not dry out on you?

Awesome! You’ll absolutely love it ❤️ 🤗 As always, thank you so much for your support, Kelly! 😘
❤This is great. I'm just worried about pieces falling out especially if I have to clean it. Can we get updates on how well they stayed put, please?

Thanks! Do you mean the canvas?
Lindo lindo, já me escrevi 😊
Can you do the bling on a mirror please, just the glass and glitter no paint
I’ll give it a whirl in a future video 😊 I’ll have to come up with something so that you can clean the mirror without the glass and glitter getting in the way 😉😘
I am so amazed at your lovely art! For a beginner, do you first apply the big crystals or the smaller ones, and then the glitter?
Thank you so much! I’m using crushed glass, not crystals 🙂 I do add chunky glitters before the finer glitters, though 😘
A big thank you from Corpus Christi, TX@@wendydevereaux

How long does it take for glue to dry
How wide do you make the middle of the crushed glass? 1 inch, 2 inches?
