What is the recommended service interval for both diffs? The whiny rear diff drives me crazy sometimes, did you notice any noise reduction after changing the oil?
Thanks for the comment. According to the Owner's Manual, the first change is at 20 hours. The next scheduled change is at 320 hours (3200 miles) or 12 months and you should be checking the level at 80 hr (800 miles) and 160 hour (1600 miles) marks. I don't know that I heard any difference but then I also don't recall hearing too much whine from the drive unit either. It could be that I wasn't listening for it though. I will check that next time I am out.
Rough Riders Thanks for the quick reply. I just watched your intercom review, to eliminate the noise, I'll just purchase a pair of intercoms and we'll start wearing helmets. 😃
The intercoms are nice for communicating with your passenger. These units seems to work OK...I don't have any reference point though to compare them against. For the price though, I am really pleased with them. Somewhere down the road I will probably move up to a better system that would allow me to communicate with other cars as well as the passenger. But those are not cheap ($1K price points). As for helmets, yep. Always recommend helmets...after 40+ years of off roading, I have seen too many injuries to not wear a helmet.
Thanks, good job
Thanks for watching.

Thanks man!
THANK YOU 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Did you notice you're missing a bolt to hold the rear differential mount?
No, there is no bolt missing. That is just a hole in the bracket, not sure why it is there.
