Note: I recorded this video again because of the previous I did not show so much use of the possibilities of the game, in the previous video I explored all the stages but unfortunately I forgot to use all the Yoshi's. In this video I used all the Yoshi's, after all although the Blue Yoshi is my favorite, everyone deserves to shine alike. I had been thinking about recording this video again, but Jacob Chang's comment made me record again. Thank you Jacob. Hope you like it!
This is a longplay of game Super Mario World, for Super Nintendo. Who does not know Super Mario World? It is an extremely good game and great success worldwide. As in previous games in the series, the script involves Mario and Luigi traversing different lands on a quest to rescue Princess Peach, who was captured by Bowser. He also seizes the island of Dinosaurs, and imprisons its inhabitants in magical eggs, handing them over to his seven henchmen, the Koopalings! Mario and Luigi face challenges by 7 different worlds, until finally defeating once again the terrible Bowser and save the Princess and the inhabitants of the Island of the Dinosaurs. An great game! This is a 96 exit run.
This game was mind blowing playing it as a kid. The music, levels , gameplay. This game is flawless. I don't care what Mario they come out with ten years from now graphics wise or if Mario cooks me breakfast in VR. This game will go down as the greatest Mario ever made.
it's crazy how we remember every stage
it's like it was yesterday ☺️
I think SMB3 and Yoshis island are still better but it’s close
@@kgisabeast For me, Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros 3 are 1a and 1b with neither one being better than the other, but both being tied for the best Mario games ever made. No other Mario games have ever come close for me.
@@james_ford86 Super Mario Bros 3 takes the cake for one reason that world didn't have, and that was the mother flipping Tanooki suit!
@@BeaverToothe I get it, but Mario Bros 3 doesn't have the Yoshis. So, to me, they're just as good as each other as what one lacks, it makes up in other ways.
Instant childhood memories, everything about this game took me back to when I was 6. Crazy how time flies doesn’t stop for no one
Time don't exist, only windows and data
So true
Nsnamakakaknamakanamzokkakk❤😢😮😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I agree with you 💯 💯! I'm 37 now, but still remember all sound in this game😂.
I was 8 and it brings me right back to me sitting on the floor with my legs crossed sipping chocolate milk..I want those days back
I bought an SNES back in 1991 and walked about a mile, with my mom, through the MacArthur Park district of Los Angeles back home, carrying in my 12 year old hands that huge ass box in a plastic shopping bag that barely covered half of it with seemingly all eyes staring at us the whole way home. And once home, I played the shit out of Super Mario World lol so…worth it.
lol
MacArthur Park is melting in the dark
Imagine the pressure they must have felt to match Mario 3 but then they come up with this masterpiece.
all videogame series from Super Mario are owned by Nintendo.
Man, I remember this game as a kid. They use to have it displayed on TV at my local Sears and Alexander's Department store. Damn, I miss those days. Nothing like growing up in the 80s and 90s.
This was such a beautiful game. I'd play this for hours when I was a kid. Thanks for uploading. This brings back so many memories!💯
same here. cheers friend

eu conheci esse jogo Super Mario World na casa de um amigo meu, tenho boas lembranças dos anos 90
I got to know this Super Mario World game at a friend's house, I have good memories of the 90's
Savage! Running through these stages like it's child's play. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! This man is the Chosen One 👑🎇🎉💯
It literally is child's play. It's a game, designed for children...
@@james_ford86 Designed for everyone, according to Miyamoto.
@@corrosyon Who primarily played the game back then? Kids. Who primarily plays the game now? People who played or knew of the game when they were kids. Miyamoto can say whatever he wants, but a game about a cartoon plumber who jumps on turtles, koopas, and whatnot is definitely a game that had children as the targeted demographic.
@@james_ford86 You can say whatever you want.

This has taught me many things I never knew in all my 20 years of playing this game.
He’s absolutely phenomenal at the game isn’t he.
I’ve never seen anything like it
I had no idea you could do that thing with the P button in the first switch palace and get all the coins!
Gosh, this brought back a lot of memories of being a 14 year old with nothing better to do but sneak in my older brothers room and play his super nintendo while he was at work. haha
I still have mine its crazy and it works

I have watched this over and over...and I've never seen someone play as well as you !!! Incredible longplay 😁 this game is and will forever be known as an ultimate classic. One of my favorites for sure !! Thank you for sharing with us 🤘
It's TAS
Jess you couldn't be anymore right
@@revengeVS Really? He made lots of mistakes. Granted I speedrun the game, but I can absolutely say I can beat it faster. You'd think TAS would be a lot faster even if you 100% the game.
@@jamesnguyễn5510 Eh, I don't get into speedrunning. The point of video games, for me at least, is to enjoy them. If I'm trying to complete the game as fast as humanly possible, cutting corners and whatnot, that kinda defeats the purpose for me. I'm the guy who will spend over 100 hours on a single Elder Scrolls game playthrough.
even just that intro with the "ba-ding!" brings back so many memories
TIMEWORKS!!!!
Coin collect
Hi
Llll
Hello timeworks
Wauw... I believe this was the first game I ever played (or one of the first). Love it so much. Man.. guys, this time was so awesome.
I find it so beautiful how we all connect here in the comment sections of these videos, and share all our nostalgic emotions and thoughts. I can feel all of you. I appreciate it.
This game use to be my all time personal favorite. My was very first game to play in Super Nintendo. Ever since 2 decades later. It's been a great experience. Now it's back on track. It returns because it Mario plans to reunite my childhood life. That refresh my memory. No matter how long it's takes it still hot. It's still a fun game to play. Mario Rules.
That Score! I just did a 100% Run (including all Dragon Coins) and I only got to 5 million points. And that included replaying levels every time I got killed. Yet you didn't lose a life (i.e. didn't replay levels which increases the score) and surpassed my record by quite a lot.
I always liked how the music slightly changes when Mario is riding Yoshi vs. walking on his own. The little details in the game made it unique.
Totally, gives me anxiety!!!!!!! Best game ever
I NEVER REALIZED THAT, I WAS VERY HAPPY TO KNOW
im having ptsd and anxiety over how easily you beat some of these levels that took me a LONG time as a young child
Super Mario world never dies
Yes! It never will die
I remember Water Level 1 losing that key by accidentally having Yoshi spit it into the abyss before I could use it on that keyhole and having to start over! 🤬😂
I didn't know Yoshi could restore the P-switch like that
I didn't know that too
@@cafercemulger1889 I wonder... can we do that on the Super Mario Maker? If so... look out world, new levels coming
me neither
@@Jamal3.87 And to think, all this time... we thought it was IMPOSSIBLE to actually get ALL THOSE COINS.
I admit defeat
This trick with P-Switch is only possible in the SNES version. Unfortunately, GBA can not do this.
These classic playthroughs bring me so much joy. Thank you!!!
Holy shit I have never seen someone this awesome at this game.
The song over the end credits is incredible. It's like an old 1940s barbershop quartet instrumental.
This was a masterpiece ahead of it's time.
I'm fed up with people overusing the phrase "ahead of its time"
It's not.
This phrase is overrated as hell
@@norpriest521 oh shut up
Every single melody in this game stucks in my head and reminds me what a great childhood i had.
@@norpriest521 you don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re probably born in 2002
@@dixienormouse1441
No
There were so many good games back in 80s and 90s and people started to say shit like "this one is ahead of its time"/ "that one is ahead of its time"
But if there were SO MANY good games back then, how the hell they were ahead of its time.
It just doesn't make sense as fuck.
And sorry to disappoint you but I'm as old as yo ass.
Trust me.
I always liked how the music slightly changes when Mario is riding Yoshi vs. walking on his own. The little details in the game made it unique.
The music is classic.
Riding Yoshi adds bongos to the music haha
It sounds like a galloping horse when he's on Yoshi
Grew up with this game and I loved it
Oh morio the classic, as im writing with a smile on my face listing to the end song 🎵 daa da daa da 😊 where dose the time go ppl this was the only game me and my sister used to play together religiously brings back such good memories.
My first game, and hundreds and 30 years later, still my favorite. I remember unpacking the SNES and popping this in...it was like entering another reality. Getting *96 was one of the highlights of my childhood.
Thank you for hitting--and giving us time to read--all the tips that pop up from the little tips boxes! The little helpful nuggets of information brings such warm nostalgic feelings 😌
SMW was the first game I ever played and has forever ingrained itself as my favorite. Still love playing hacks.
This was great to watch... you're so good at this game that several times I said "what a dick!" at some of the show-off moves you made lol.
And I LOVE that once you got to Star Road you sat still and let the music play. Star Road is clearly the best music in the game :D
I love the Donut plains music, with the star road and special zone as close seconds. But donut plains is the music that'll get the nostalgia going for me...probably because it on 75% of the world map😅
The way he kept catching the pow with yoshi 🧐
Your dedicated gameplay is simply... astonishing.
I know it's an older vid, but this is my go-to vid whenever I want something familiar as background noise if I'm doing chores, but can sit down and enjoy if I feel like doing that too. It's clear how much you love this game just by the way you play; I'm shitty at video games im general, but watching this always makes me want to try. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing
A classic! My wife and I just bought a Super Nintendo recently and we got this game🤗
Wife? 🤔
@@arcademania7544 Yeah...I said wife

Was looking at Mario's spritesheet and came to this video to go frame-by-frame on footage of Mario holding a shell. I was just jumping to random points until I thought "Oh right, in Yoshi's Island 2 you can kick a shell at the start to get an easy 1-up, duh". Did NOT expect that mighty flex. Had no idea you could even do that. Amazing longplay.
Damn! That was a hell of a run! Great work!
Just came for the nostalgia
That was the first game I played with my uncles when I was 1 years old and now I am 31 years old now wow how time flies so fast
i was playing this game when i was 5th grade, and i finished it for months. Now i watch this with my children 😆😆😆
I love how the graphics change colors after completing all the levels & dominate Bowser.
I remember basically being a toddler watching my dad beat this game and turn the map brown while laying on his belly before bed time every night. We'd get done with dinner, he'd play a couple levels, then my mom would carry me upstairs. Great memories!
Those special times we wish we could have repeated or still exist
Sounds like you had a great childhood.
Awwwww☺️
Love this comment spencer. I play Zelda (BOTW) with my 8 and 6 year old girls almost every night before bed. They snuggle with me and I love telling them the lore of the game and seeing their faces light up makes me so happy.
I used to play this game when I was a kid it's very fun.. I finished the whole game and the special stages and the map changed to a chocolate map and I used to collect all the lives from the first stage.. There is a hole pipe and all you need is ur friend yoshi to jump and hit the flying box and get the green mashroom and getting out of the pipe then back again to the same pipe you entered and repite the same thing over and over..
Also u don't have to repite playing a finishing stage if u get in a finishing stage to get yoshi then after u get it just press the start button and then select button near start then you go back to the map..
Some time I used to cheat on the game using the feather jumping and vooweeooo all the stage to the finish line 👌😜 very fast way to win.. Anyway, ur long play is awesome..
Looks pretty advance for a game in the 90s
This shit was a graphical masterpiece when it dropped 😂😂😂😂😂 man the 90s were so dope, games look like movie’s almost now lol

I got my SNES when I was 5 in 1994, and never bought another game console. Mostly played Super Mario and Donkey Kong. I only got 2/3 of the way through this game. I think part of that is not having siblings or friends to play with #foreveralone
Crazy how I still remember almost every single part of this game
started playing this and Donkey Kong Country on my Switch! can't get enough.
U can play this on switch?
this is a absolutely gorgeous piece of art
Its crazy how little these games have changed over 30-40 years. Same formula, better graphics.
The sound of Yoshi eating is just so satisfying, it could be ASMR.
