If it were not for you who accompany me, I would not have gotten far. In response to requests and as promised on Christmas, I released the video of the GBA version. In this GBA video I took great care to get everything done, to pick up the flutes, the white mushroom houses (which are blue in this version), all stages completed and also more secrets, like a ship full of coins. I will never forget my cousin getting this for his birthday, we completely skipped the cake and went straight to the Nintendo. We would sneak down in the middle of the night just to play it. I still play it to this day. Nostalgia is a powerful thing

I remember my mom and aunt playing this a lot when I was a kid. Every summer, we'd visit my aunt a lot because she lived at an apartment complex with an awesome pool. After a day in the pool, we'd go back to her apartment and eat pizza. My mom and aunt sat down and played this together and talked about their childhood. They'd even let me play sometimes. Good times :)
@DevX 03 Yeah those were good times. Kids today have their own cool things though. If I had seen games like Kingdom Hearts 3 or Uncharted when I was kid, my head would have exploded.
My father usually never plays video games at all, but even he was a huge fan of this game when it was released; he even spontaneously bought the actual NES just to be able to play it.

April 2021. I brought out my Nintendo today, I was just playing Super Mario Bros 1, 2 & 3. I will forever love this game! My cheeks are in pain from blowing on the cartridge 😆 So nostalgic. I miss the 90’s.

Haven’t owned a console for a while. Out of all the consoles I could’ve put my hands on, ps4, ps5, Xbox. I decided to get a Nintendo switch to play Mario games. I was born in 91. Growing up I always played super Mario games. I seen Mario look like this and come to the 3D version he is now. Mario games will always hold a special spot in my heart forsure.

I remembering as a 14 year old kid calling all the toy, electronics, and department stores trying to get this game when it was first released in 1988! I finally found 1 copy at Sears and told them to HOLD IT FOR ME! I was sooo excited. I had called around for 2 weeks. This game was insanely difficult to get ahold of at the time!!!!

I was sleep deprived even when i was attending college playing this game in particular only on SNES never could get it on the original system only on there then later on the Wii and Wii U. Incredible this person never dies . I tell you how many times i tried and died even with lot of men... Ugh this person is a major pro.
My favorite part of the classic smb3 is how the sound effects take precedent over the music, and not everything can be played at once, so when you collect a coin or something, parts of the music cuts out then come back in.

Still remember when my mom surprised me with this game as a gift. I didn't even know it had come out. So as a 1st grader at the time, it was downright shocking when I opened it.
I got it from my mom too in the fall of 1990 and had no idea it was a thing until I got it. I spent so much time on this game. I used to warp all the time when I was younger but when I play today I go through the whole game without warping.

A few hours ago the MIDI songs of this game came to mind, and I felt like playing it all over again. Your video has allowed me to re-live the game without having to buy the console and game. I watched the whole first world and then just let it play in the background while I worked on t-shirts.

I remembering as a 14 year old kid calling all the toy, electronics, and department stores trying to get this game when it was first released in 1988! I finally found 1 copy at Sears and told them to HOLD IT FOR ME! I was sooo excited. I had called around for 2 weeks. This game was insanely difficult to get ahold of at the time!!!!

I was sleep deprived even when i was attending college playing this game in particular only on SNES never could get it on the original system only on there then later on the Wii and Wii U. Incredible this person never dies . I tell you how many times i tried and died even with lot of men... Ugh this person is a major pro.

My favorite part of the classic smb3 is how the sound effects take precedent over the music, and not everything can be played at once, so when you collect a coin or something, parts of the music cuts out then come back in.

One of the greatest games ever made.
Still remember when my mom surprised me with this game as a gift. I didn't even know it had come out. So as a 1st grader at the time, it was downright shocking when I opened it.
I got it from my mom too in the fall of 1990 and had no idea it was a thing until I got it. I spent so much time on this game. I used to warp all the time when I was younger but when I play today I go through the whole game without warping.
