    I’m definitely using your setup for the trolling motor. Bought the 6 pack of feel free adapters. I already have the rudder. Paddling the 120 in heavy wind is a losing battle. Was going to use the sonar pod for the motor, but I’m with you on keeping it simple and not having to wire inside with no hull access. Also thought I was going to mount my fish finder in the sonar pod. Went with the YakAttack cell block for that.

    Had the Tamarack Angler kayak and sold it looking for something bigger to HD more gear and possibly take my daughter out for those non fishing days to just splash. This looks like it can hit the spot. Like the Tamarack for it's stability, ease of paddle and weight but that was a non issue as I had wheels to transport it around.
    Well done video thank you.

    • @TheFishingFather
      @TheFishingFather  4 года назад +2

      Thanks for the view! It is rather heavy and bulky. I would not recommend placing it on top of a vehicle simply due to weight and overall chunkiness of kayak. I am a supporter of the 10.5 foot version of this kayak, I feel it does not suffer from any stability loss but is faster and easier to maneuver. Also, it may be easier to get on top of a car if the correct J hooks are used. Handling is not too bad, once again I advocate for the smaller version if you have any apprehensions about handling or transporting this beast. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

      Honestly it will be more used for floating rivers then lakes. That’s why I think it would be a better then a lighter kayak.

    • @TheFishingFather
      @TheFishingFather  5 лет назад +1

      That Fishing Guy I’ll tell you what. I LOVED the tamarack. I Never once capsized. I knew it’s limits and stuck to it. The Bug Fish Is the most stable kayak I have ever been on. I was in serious windy waters and felt like I was safer than a baby in its mother’s womb. Is it worth the upgrade...yes. I think I would
      Of been happier with the 10 foot solely due to transportation , maneuverability and storage. Hope this helps.

    Buyer beware: The track mounts are designed to not fit rod holders from any other company. You will be required to buy (make) an adapter for all of your accessories. Also every location of the tracks will interfere with your paddling and the rod your fishing currently if an accessory is mounted. But you will be charged for them eventhough 3waters is well aware that they will be of no use without a peddledrive. 👎👎

    Your fish died please take more care and hurry up and release. I dive lakes and dead trout on the bottom or twitching trout belly up is everywhere, aspesily in the summer when fisherman are out. Besides that I found a gold coin and junk. Your video is the last video of this kayak, I'm buying one.
