    when i print out wing parts, one side is printing closed. am i meant to cut open the entire side? or is there something i need to change? the raised alignment parts on the top of the print are fine, but the otherside is solid. no lip or open end like in your video.

      You enable Vase mode (spiralize outer contour). When you enable it, the top surface will open, which helps the model better.

    Funny timing for the video, my last two parts are in the printing queue as we speak, after having the files on my pc fir months 😅. Anything worth noting during your construction? Did you use lw-pla or regular pla?

      I am using PLA+ (regular PLA), but I recommend using LW PLA. It helps your model be lighter, and this wingspan is not high-performance and the walls will be better.

    How long your wingspan is? Total filament consumed?

    • @JensenPlane
      @JensenPlane  2 месяца назад

      Wingspan is 1200mm. I used ~ 450gram PLA. If using the LW PLA is 300gram.
