@@there-tro-re-loadx2953 i try to test tekken 8 and make a video about it, Most games i tested was really different on OLED and it was a very enjoyable experience, it depends what games you play, for example a game like fallout 4 where the color used in the game are cold yes the difference is less, it is still noticeable though, but in games like dying light 2 where the colors are warm it really makes a different experience For dark games like hallow knight it is also very good because of the OLED contrast, the game feels different, I am really happy with the OLED screen i am enjoying a lot in games
@@MrHandheld thank you for the reply, I currently have 512 as after I bought it, oled was released just couple of months after, now as someone who's used switch oled, the oled screen looks remarkable. @@MrHandheld I am seriously considering upgrading my lcd 512 to oled 512, even though it is working great, I so badly want an oled screen on AAA titles, had I know there will be an oled deck, I never would've gone for lcd model, it came as a surprise, also is it a good deal for $150 as an upgrading to an oled from LCD?
@@there-tro-re-loadx2953 the steam deck is a great device both the LCD and the OLED The games you mentioned I try to make video about them so you can see the OLED experience But the OLED in steam deck is great Since I got it i forgot my Nintendo switch OLED 😊
@@there-tro-re-loadx2953the LCD steam deck is also great but for 150$ i believe it is worth to upgrade You get the bigger screen with OLED panel Better battery life and quieter fan If these feature is important to you i believe it will be worthy to upgrade
It requires certain types of games. The OLED won’t pop in every game & you’ll be left with a realization that the resolution is crap on games that the display doesn’t enhance. Huge enhancement on games like Callisto Protocol & Dead Island 3. But a game like Need for Speed Unbound? Forget about it. Install windows on it & then comb whatever your library is for enhanced games. There is no wiki list for this but you own eye test will tell you what games utilize best the tech. For OLED to work on everything you need more resolution or a smaller screen which is why visually results are inconsistent here. Resolution is too low & the display is too large.
@@edwardlashley3572 nice review, but at a display on this size most games won't require bigger resolution, i had rog ally and sold it because the 1080p wasn't making a big difference for me,but i do enjoy the colors on oled panel and for the games that I want to play on handheld i dont need that exta power witch is why i believe steam deck oled is great for most people
@@MrHandheld I have tested OLED & you absolutely must increase the resolution or compact the size of the display to receive the full effect if the tech. There is something here related to pixel density I suspect, but Aya Neo made a 5.5 inch display for OLED likely b/c they realized this is the optimal compression size & it makes a huge difference. Every gajs you play will pop. Also, if you use a pair of OLED AR glasses, the size of the screens in a literal sense is just a couple of inches. Try either & compare that to the Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch & it’s night & day. I also purchased a much larger portable display. 14 inches probably but it displays in 4K. The 4K monitor, the AR Glasses or the 5.5 inch Aya Neo all over a far vibrant OLED experience than the Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch. All 3 have a combination of more resolution and/or a more compact size.
Thank you
your welcome😊
