Finally learned how to do wide s turns. It sucks that you won’t be able to always see what’s ahead when you are on your toes edge . I almost smashed into a tree and fallen into a ditch
You always look ahead. Maybe for now you’re doing S turns and coming To a full stop on your toe edge. Bit as you feel more comfortable you will center your self a bit more. Meaning, your board won’t be completely on the toe edge but slightly diagonal pointing down hill so you can maintain speed and not slow down so much. Either way. Always look where you’re going. Again, unless you fully stop in toe edge
My friends please check out my full tutorials. I speak of all the details of J C and S turns. Then I’d love to hear what’s still happening so I can help. You can even take a vid and send me. Would love to help you

Hi! In this short I show all the steps that a beginner should go through- each of these has its own video. Please take a look here: ruclips.net/p/PL1JRO0puIlHeQWNXKQsm0YnupoU-dIt4A As for starting turns, as you’ll see I go over edge slides. Once you feel you can comfortably slide in each edge, practice falling leaf, and going traverse on each edge (since you’re going sideways on the slope make sure you look back to make sure no one is coming down fast). Controlling edges in traverse is when you should start turns. Don’t get stuck on the first few stages for too long. Snowboarding is turning - go for it starting with J turns and slowly make your way in the progression. Good luck! And feel free to post any questions.
snowboarding lessons are always important - absolutely. At least to get the base correctly. After that there's time to use videos to help remember and improve elements in riding. @@LaoSoftware
@@jonathanEricStaffordRealtorna lmao, i learned to ride both directions early. it’s nice to have in the tank. i also learned to 180 and i do actually have a preferred direction. honestly it depends on riding style though. posi-posi angles suck switch for example. on the contrary, if i’m doing the half pipe, going both directions is immensely helpful
Well I skied when I was younger - i agree that learning to snowboard is def harder. But getting to be a really good skier is not that easy. But yes- you can see that with kids. On skies they come down greens after a day or two. Teaching kids to snowboard is hard work.
@@ALLaBOARDvideos I agree. Been skiing for 5 years and am pretty good but there’s still a lot I could learn. I snowboard occasionally as well and it’s definitely more difficult when first starting out.

Hi I'm a beginner. May I know when's the time we use J/C/S turns?

You have to take ski lessons at a ski resort. That's how learn to do it correctly. I see 5 year old kids and the elderly train on a small slope.

How can I help?
Step 8 tricks
ha! true that
I have gone snowboarding once and i could go straight and stop first try
Great- good start. Now turns - which are a crucial part of snowboarding and the most fun :)
Where is this
Hunter mt. NY
I don't think this is my sport 😅 I can hardly move after one day, I might just stick to skiing 😂
Don’t give up! Every sport is like that in the beginning. But once it clicks you’ll have a blast!
Step 8: 720 indie backflip
Well…
Do u agree?
@LeoFelsen haha. well, no hahaha
Wait this is recommending falling leaf??? 👎
As part of a learning process to practice edge control. Yes.
You should really focus on you good leadleg instead of forcing awkward switch learning... Save that for later

Meanwhile learning how to ski is just do the pizza thing and then figure it out lol
