Nello is adorable. Thanks to the hostess for such valuable videos. Teeth are one of the most important things to consider for good health for us and animals. Thanks for this video, much appreciated!
Pink collar looks GREAT on Nello, as he is grey! 🤩 Big YES! Flashy colors look fantastic on grey Iggies. And for Nello, I even prefer this "fluorescent" pink than the "fluorescent" yellow. For our Ludo (who is "light cream", a "Thailand beach sand" color as someone told me in the park) we go with darker colors instead: there is nothing that looks better on him that "bleu France", kind of blue like the blue here on the "Answer" YT button (although if I am not sure that everybody has the same buttons, maybe it depends…😅). For Ludo, during the walks-around, I get at least 1 or 2 compliments / day. And 8/10 of this compliments are about his color (he looks so classy in his BLACK coat with RED under-linings! But he looks great "naked" too…). All of this to say that in my opinion dark dogs (as Nello) look better in light colors, and light dogs (as Ludo is) in dark colors. I didn't discover America here I guess 😂😂
So glad sweetie Nello is alright! My rather conservative father started wearing pastel colored Oxford shirts with his business suits back in the 70's, including Pink 😁. He looked great just like Nello does.
Nello is such a cutie! Grey and pink is a nice combo. Wow. so sorry Nello got attacked. It's a worry with the Greyhound breeds; a bite can do so much damage.
We always love to hear from Nello, and so glad that he got away after the incident! There are situation in life just impossible to avoid, no matter how careful You are, so this is a relief that nothing serious happened to Nello. I myself might be over-careful when walking with my Iggy (3 years old, cream color Ludovico), I am fully aware that "something" can always happen too fast to react. When I feel that something might happen, I just take him straight in my arms and carry him a bit, but this is not always possible. Besides I do not want to be too protective either: he must (and loves to) interact with other dogs. But there are surely moments where I am tensed, with my 4 kg Ludo, seeing a 50+ kg dog coming our way… Greetings to Nello & You from Paris! 😊
That’s the thing, there is only a small line between protecting and overprotecting your Iggy - and just like you said, it’s important that they get to socialize and interact with other dogs. Not always easy being an Iggy parent 🤣😅
@@thelifeofnello Not always easy, that's true! They are so small, and yet they take a huge place in our lives. My life changed so much since an Iggy popped up as a part of it :) I think it might be similar with other breeds, but maybe it is a little stronger with Italian Greyhounds…
Not surprised in the slightest that it was a poodle mix of some sort. Every single one I've known has been randomly vicious to smaller dogs, and their owners never seem to care! So glad he came out okay though :)
Leela, an Italian Greyhound Papillon mix, is a big fan of Nello. She is relieved that Nello survived the attack. Big dogs are scary. (Seriously, she watches all of Nello’s videos with great interest. These dogs are so smart.)
@@thelifeofnello I would like to add: PINK may be masculine, why not? I am a big 90kg dude, as masculine as it comes, and I am not afraid to wear pink sometimes. I even have a pink phone! 😅
Ivory also got attacked while on leash about 6 months ago. 4 fluffy ankle-biters all at once went for her. She got a deep bite on her shoulder. Needed surgery. Now she is reactive to other dogs. 😩
Hi I hope to do more videos focusing on Nello, he is so small 😢 I really want to see more of him ❤❤❤thanks for sharing Ps: I mean more close ups shots of him ,because he lost in the big frames❤❤
I have read about many many Iggy's breaking their front limbs when jumping or running while playing. Have you had this issue before? Or heard about it from other Iggy's?
My iggy broke her two front legs a few months ago🥺 She needed surgery on both legs. It was really expensive (11k CAD so about 8 200 USD/7 600€)so you have to be prepare to that since it’s really common with Italian greyhounds. You better have dog insurance when owning an iggy. Honestly, most of iggy owners that I know had to deal with a broken leg. From what I’ve seen, it seems that bigger iggys are less likely to break their legs because their bones are thicker. Mine is only 4kg. Her legs are so thin. We have to be reallyyyy careful with her. So, yes that is definitely something to take in consideration with this breed.
This makes me want a IGGY so bad! Nello is just adorable and looks like such an amazing companion.
I think I speak for everyone when I say, I absolutely love Nello. He's an outstanding individual!

I’m sending out a long distance BOOP to Nello! ☺
Wir sind auch glücklich, dass es unserem kleinen Schatz Nello gut geht. Er ist einfach der Coolste🥰
