Okay but can we talk about how kalim has an entire population for siblings, like him family could build a town just with his siblings 😭
Can we take a moment to appreciate how Jamil goes on his own accord to stop Kalim from overspending his money depsite internally hating him and it not being a part of his primary servant duties? He knows how difficult it is to build wealth in this world 🐍
(I actually wonder how the theme of wealth will be incorporated into the Scarbaia arc of chapter 7 dropping this Friday on jp.)

Great overall analysis! What isn't mentioned here is Kalim's advice for other people concerning their spending. In Malleus' Alab Nariya card, he sees Malleus take up all of the vendors' offers to buy their products, and asks Malleus if he's really going to buy everything they tell him to. Malleus dissuades his worries, and in usual Kalim fashion, he accepts Malleus' answer and encourages him to spend (helping Malleus step out when he saw it got too overwhelming and even helping Malleus zero in on one singular thing he'd like to bring back as a souvenir).
This subtlety, where Kalim understands the disparity between himself and other people when it comes to wealth, is shown in Tamashina Mina/Cloudcalling in the Sunset Savana as well (and even learns from it). Part of his character is that he takes in feedback unexpectedly, and although some of the event emphasized his understanding on what are quality products and wares, he seems to have taken what Vil said to heart about their fruits (and Kalim's difference in assessment of the same exact fruit) when he then changes his mind about buying the more expensive jewelry for less expensive ones (and in usual TWST narrative fashion, both of these options - one where Kalim considers things with his wealthy perspective and upbringing, and one where he does not - are not looked upon favorably).
This subtle storytelling comes again when he introduces himself with his last name to Cheka, but not to the complete stranger who he helped to buy an entire bus. Once he says his name, the other person will feel like they absolutely need to curry favor from him - whether it's because he doesn't want to be subject to that or he doesn't want the other person to feel like they need to do that, it's something he avoids because of the topic of wealth. He understands his wealth in the sense that he understands that what he can do with his wealth isn't what other people can do with their wealth - and the things he doesn't, like the gym clothing line to Yuu in his gym clothes voice lines, he's slowly learning (as Leona says). His striving to be this sort of person is a part of his generosity and why he's so kind. Otherwise, everything else looks right to me! Thank you for these videos!

I enjoy watching kalim slowly but surely grow up bit by bit and learn how to do things himself. But I do still want him to still be that bright baby we all know ad love
Kalim and Money, my two favorite things
I think the most treasure Kalim have is his kindness because he can be an arogant person and easily to be hated( even he is from a rich family) , but for twist fans i think Kalim will still be favorite even he was poor but kind.
I don't think Kalim will be like thise ruch people that just care about themselves. Kalim never was like that, he is just learning how powerful his money is and the power he have with that. At least this is what he always showed, and even the ghost that possessed Kalim was exactly the counterpart of his personality showing himself as strict and egoist. So, yes. I find funny how he is so careless about money and how generous he is even. The analysis it's pretty great to see his relationship with money, a part of it. I really want to know how Kalim's pearents are.
