Jade and Cater has always been one of my favorite duos so I’m glad that I finally get to see a video about them!! :D

I just realized how much they interact

As two of my favourites, among many 😅, I occasionally appreciated their dynamic, but never really noted just how regular(?) it is. I agree with Cater that it’s hard to think of Jade as an underclassman and watching them interact that feeling always intensifies. It may be because they’re 2 different kinds of the same character-the guy masking his feelings. Jade appeals to older students as a mature and capable underclassman, while Cater appeals to younger students as a chill, dependable upperclassman. But Jade can be really childish and Cater can be painfully serious-like counterweights. When Cater is acting happy-go-lucky Jade covers for him (Beanfest) but when Jade gets all excitable, Cater has to rein him in (Vargas Camp). A bit of a simplistic take on their interactions during the events, but it’s fun to keep an eye out for.

Even though Kalim may have never Overblotted, I feel like he would've been the most twisted of the bunch, 2nd to the Chimera (AKA Grim) from the tutorial.

Question, are you planning to make some videos/posts about the summaries of the MC/prefect's relationship with other characters (besides the obvious ones that the MC often interacted with like Mal, Adeuce, and Grim), as well?? Bcs I've been curious about that these days. Thank you!

I think they should have tried to go for a closer translation in EN i honestly like the exact translations feom japanese because that feels more authentic.

i much prefer "paint the roses" over "doodle suit", it sounds a little more elegant and also alludes to one of the spells capabilities (it sounds more like a spell that can alter attributes)

In essence, Riddle trained like a fairy to become as skilled as he is. I find it interesting that in Book 6 Idia mentioned that his magic pool was artificially greater than most and he uses more in moments of indecision, but it’s fine because he has so much. This brings me back to the fairy comparison (not to claim that he is a fairy, but I would have LOVED if he had a Fairy Gala card), while Lilia has greater control, it’s interesting that when upset, Malleus calls upon lightning or weather abnormalities, while Riddle tends to set things aflame.

Ok so for the past two or three hours I've been trying to find his version of out there (my wish in Japanese) but like I can't find it anywhere!!?? I hope that someday someone posts it on RUclips or something cause I would love to listen to it....I heard the original one from the movie but not his cover of it and that sucks....so would be nice if someone posts it....well that's it really oh and I really do like professor Crewel probably my favorite staff member besides Crowley.....um anyway if anyone posts it or finds a version please link it to me or something or at least tell me the name of the video please and thank you. Not to complain here but my ONE gripe with him is how often he says “for a human” spiel. He acts like he’s not half human himself and just sees humans as sentient animals with nothing more than aggression and some amount of intelligence . His reverse speciesism is what keeps me from fully liking him. I get that he was raised by fairies and admires his grandfather, but geez, did he have to pass on his hatred of humans to Sebek? ( I am a dark skinned person, so his demeanor is reminding me too much of racist people)

I believe Sebek’s love language is “Words of Affirmation” because he LOVES being complimented and does so in kind, in a way that makes it seem like it is the BEST thing a person can do for another person. He has his Alchemy class line “Please Praise me!” I consider Leona addressing by name a ‘compliment’ (in the fact that he remembered him) and he was grinning despite the, “Impressively stupid..” comment in his Outdoors Wear SR In the Glorious Masquerade event there is a point in the chapter 14 ‘Tis a Simple Question’ where Trein tells him “Well done…” He got lured into the Harveston event after Epel said, “I imagine their friends and loved ones’ll give ‘em a big ‘ol pat on the back and say, ‘You did good.’” His Lab Wear voice line, “I’ll get the highest score on our next test. And then the Young Master will praise me…!” And his Glorious Masquerade story where he was only able to make eye contact with Malleus after-you guessed it- HE PRAISED HIM!

Amazing video! I was thinking about Vil's use of "atashi" and the difference in the using of "ore" within the characters. Now I have a clear understanding of why they use those pronouns 🤓☝️

It's crazy that there's so much drama over pronouns in english-speaking countries right now, mostly generated by people who don't even understand what pronouns are. Meanwhile, Japan is out there playing 5 dimensional chess with multiple writing systems just to refer to themselves.

I think maybe in earlier drafts cater was related to ace, both gingers with red eyes, maybe he was his brother or a cousin, but an interesting fact is that the very first version of ace actually had light silver hair, that can easily look white, so combined with red eyes maybe ace was going to be the white rabbit character
