@@chrisconstanti9283 I know this scene is really sad/intense if you think about it. It seems as if the soldiers were stuck inside the atv and locked in. So Foley saying “what about em” is so intense because he’s condemning those soldiers to be stuck in there and starve to death or shoot themselves. Because no one will look for them or find them in time considering how bad the situation around the city is
Strategically the nuclear air-burst was a bad move. Yes, Price knocked out the Russian’s electronic equipment. Yes, he probably halted additional Russian paratrooper forces by several hours. But he also knocked out every East Coast American electronic countermeasure. Not just holos- radios, phones, vehicles. All done for. Now the US has to source equipment from the Midwest and West Coast for the war effort. Delaying the Americans several hours as well. I mean damn, Price.
Yeah and a lot of lives probably died, including civilians. But it's a gamble Price was willing to take. It may delay both sides, but US forces have homecourt advantage. They know the terrain, they can get additional resources quicker compared from the Russians wherever the hell they are stationed (maybe they camped in South America), and they're the defenders so it's a heavier blow to the attackers.
always wondered if shooting out those spot-lights helped out at all or if they were only cosmetic (as in the enemy still had perfect or so aim whether the lights were in commission or not)

Yea, I swear the original was alot more colder. Showing that Foley doesnt really see them as people after what they did to DC.
A lot to all games have voice actors record several versions of the same lines. It's very possible that they just used another version of it.
