Frank: A pro chef because he went to chef school.
Beth: A pro chef because she has grandma powers.
But to Beth's credit... my grandma was a terrible cook, my siblings and I would run to the hills whenever she cooked. So glad mom, on the other hand, is an amazing cook so we didn't starve... Even though mom taught us the basics, there is that special touch my sisters and I still can't really achieve
What I mean is that not all grandmas are great cook by default LOL But Beth certainly is
My grandmother on one side--terrific, other side, not so much (could make any dessert, but all meals were kind of boiled).

Ay let's be honest we all would 😂
I just came down to the comment section knowing for sure that there is a comment about this quote and it was on top lol. Immediately liking it!!
Omg, Beth was my biology teacher in middle school!! I was shocked to her face come up in my recommended feed!! She used to tell us about how she would mail her son her famous meatballs 😂
seriously that's insane
Wait beth is a teacher...how blowing is that bro 😂
woah there, thats actually so cool
That's so cool 🥰
sure, sure that happened.
Frank may have gone to culinary school and thats impressive, but Beth literally just watched cooking shows and existed and got right to his level of expertise, a true queen.
No she didn't lol
Thats like saying you watched law and order and you got to the level of a professional lawyer
@Yeoman Wulf As an analogy it works in this context. Saying someone got to a trained chef's level of expertise by watching cooking shows ignores the training and years of experiece he probably has. I guess a more apt comparison would be shows that explained law by watching a lawyer do stuff on camera and talked the viewer through it, but I'm not sure those are big in the cultural landscape (or even exist?) like cooking shows are
@@qweqweqweqwe40 Well in that essence, you should say A lawyer vs. someone who spent at least 40yrs watching, learning and performing law. Yeah I do bet both can be knowledgeable, maybe not on the same techniques, but both got the spirit of the job.
@@qweqweqweqwe40 Beth probably has many years of cooking under her belt. How many years of practicing law at home does the average law and order watcher do? Almost everyone cooks. You can replicate recipes and learn from them and many times reach the same lessons culinary school teaches out of experience, albeit at a much slower pace. This of course completely overlooks that law and order has nothing to do with actual law and is all a bunch of made up nonsense for entertainment's sake. You don't need to get offended and act all weird under a comment in a RUclips section on Frank's behalf lmao. He doesn't seem that fragile so I'm sure he's doing just fine even if people admire Beth's cooking skills.
I've never met Beth but I would trust her with my life.

So basically, everyone takes Frank's ingredients and makes Frank's dish and Frank takes their ingredients and makes whatever he wants.
Frank has to chef-it-up, no matter what.
Yeah would be cool If the Chefs would do the "Basic" recipe and then present their Chef Version of it
@@forsaken7161 to be fair. I think most people would know what the basic version would be like. It would be nice though.
I think the whole point of this series is to show us a nice recipe with expensive ingredients and something different with ingredients everyone can afford

Note that even though there is nearly a 1500% difference in cost of ingredients, Beth plates more than twice as much food as Frank.

you'd be surprised just how easy it is to make things from scratch but we just dont do so for the sake of time. You must not have a family that did a lot of home cooking. Also Italian families make food on par with pro chefs and many times better. I for one can easily make a dish this "pro" makes. Cooking isnt hard.
@@AlternateKek why are you putting pro in quotes? Do you know what the word means?
I think, in their last cooperation, grandma said that she likes the olive oil Frank got her, so this time, he got her a bigger bottle. Because that's what a hero does.

That’s not a hero. Can’t just toss that title around like candy
@Architeuthis Dux that’s not even an acceptable comparison here
@Architeuthis Dux yes they can deserve that title depending on what they did like saving a life risking their own. That’s a hero not someone who get someone an item
