For forging, the number of chips in your active line you may forge = #forge chips in your active line + 1 if you withdrew from/won a battle ending on a forge space on the battle track.
Example #1: You have 5 active chips, 2 of which are forges, and you withdraw from/win the battle, ending on a forge spot on the battle track. You may forge up to 3 of your 5 active chips (which may or may not include forge chips).
Example #2: You withdraw from/win a battle with just 1 forge chip and without ending on a forge spot on the battle track. You may forge that single forge chip.
Example #3: You go bust. You may forge no chips, no matter how many you might have otherwise been able to.

I had lots of fun playing. Insane setup though. Haha
@@TabletopKnights Yeah the insert stores the game very well, but it is not designed for ease of setup
The battle ends when all players are busted OR a player reaches 25 on the battle track OR the only active player is IN THE LEAD. So (around 1hr 09), Victor could have continued to pull chips until he busts, chooses to withdraw, or takes the lead.

aren't you supposed to replace wonderland card right after picking one up?
yes draw a new Wonderlandian and add it to the Market
Cards are only replaced once a player makes a whole round around the table and move through the starting place (but it is not allowed to pass more than once through that place). The idea is that following players have less choices.
