50 is a prime example of wanting more for others than they want from themselves. I just learned this lesson quick and fast. I no longer feel bad anymore because when you know you have the right intentions you can move on with a free conscience.
Real shit

Imagine if all gunit members developed a mentallity like 50 ,they would literally control the music industry
Then they wouldnt work it out. Look what happened between 50 and game. Its only one boss at a record label. But they could create their own labels within or without g unit. All of them had successful albums even yayo. So reputation and money would be no problem. But I guess they wasnt interested enough
Not while 50 was controlling them tho he woud never let he kids grow taller then him or forget they his kids

“I birthed my sons but they didn’t bear me any children”….gotta be the most real yet disrespectful bar ever 😂😂 gotta love 50 man
50 cent is toxic. He would never let anyone under him forget they his bitch even if they made him money
This is exactly why he can’t keep personal relationships. They are grown men, his peers. Everyone is not meant to do the same thing. Everyone doesn’t want to be his yes man forever, like Yayo. Did he ask them what they wanted or had planned for themselves? They needed time to grow, and learn from their mistakes. Just like his son and alot of people, expected him to be a decent father, but he couldn’t do that. He’s disappointing in that respect too. You’re not a real man if you don’t care for your children.
Real shit right there....both figurativelly and literally

Gotta give props to kidd Kidd, even though he’s no longer a part of g unit, he left willingly to be his own boss like fif would have wanted. even if he’s not blowing up rn, he’s at least actively trying to create something great and hasn’t given up yet

Some people are not leaders, some are loyal soldiers like Tony Yayo is truly loyal to 50 Cent. You have to know yourself and embrace your role🤔
💯💯💯
Very true. I am one.
💯
50 is not a leader himself. He is a cash cow and many cash cows think and act like leaders when in reality they not even close . 50 destroys everyone around him yet he is see as the good guy. The same as Dame Dash ... it's always everyone fault but his own ...yet he is the leader? Yeah aight 😂
Exactly 😊
I wish I had an opportunity given to me like this holy fuck
Same with me wishing for great opportunities

Brothers were mad sellin. Ain’t everyday you get a multi-million dollar opportunity. Would be nice but it ain’t our life unfortunately.
Hate to counter 50 as I love him as an artist, but Buck had G-unit south started, and was looking good with D-tay, 615, signing C-Bo. . . . And mobb deep.
Lloyd Banks out now killin it with the COTI albums
Lloyd banks ain’t been relevant since Start it up.
When 50 said I’m not trying to tarnish his character the man has “Lazy Lloyd” tattooed on his arm. That shit still kills me!! 🤣🤣
That's y I love 50 he a REAL OG
It's funny how everybody is celebrating these little takes of his meanwhile if you listen closely all he's doing is tearing down the people he once called his best friends
Yup
Damn that’s deep.
Dude 50 is a true g strait up
I think many people in the comments section are either too young to remember or just completely forgot that 50 was a different person when he started his career. How did 50 go from a man who was shot 9 times to one of the most muscle-bound rappers of his generation? Steroids!!
He was not as calm and talkative as he is now. He was a hot-tempered dude who lashed out quick. He didn't communicate like this in his 1st 10 years of his career.
So, if behind the scenes he communicated similar to this to Yayo and the others; he's totally in the right. However, if he was rash and explosive and didn't talk to them like this but, just tried to show the example of an intelligent man on steroids; it probably didn't land right. And sometimes leading by example isn't enough. Some people need to be sat down and told the game plan.
If you really want people behind you to be successful, you don't only have to walk the walk. Sometimes you also have to talk to talk.
Have to agree. Ppl don’t see things in retrospect or context-wise. I mean I love & respect what 50 has evolved to be now. But 50 back then was a hot head - he admits it himself. Hot heads don’t see reasoning as a thing of strength. It’s either their way or no way at all. I’m guessing it’s this very reason why he & his first born son don’t get along. But ppl are quick to blame the son as hating on his dad. Children don’t just hate their parents for no reason
That's an accurate and interesting perspective.
Your legacy Will Go On you might not see it now but it will go on later before you go die you will see and God bless you 50 Cent
Dammm if I were a G unit member would i have caught what 50 was laying down for me?I know the game didn't eitther fuckk it really takes a type of energy to shine ❤ 50 a boss by blood ❤

They all are they own bosses they just won’t let 50 boss them around like yayo 😂😂😂😂😂
Na Buck still trying to get on 50 good side and Banks is basically a underground artist with no artist under him.
Did he actually tell them that, or was he just wishing it would happen ?
Never underestimate the abilty of a grown man to rely on his boss and choose security, instead of creating his own.
The only one who had the mentality 50 was speaking of was The Game and he turned against 50 instead of build with him the wrong one gets the opportunities while the right ones get passed over truly sad
Game should've never turned against 50 in the first place he was just like the rest of them, he just got lucky that 50 gave him hits that helped him sell
50 you the truth
50 did EVERYTHING for these guys, and I mean everything.... He really was heartbroken when they just sat on the couch eating potato chips and playing cod.
💀
Hardly. He prevented them leaving and gettin royalties for their songs. He literally ripped off every single artist under G unit. How do people not know this
@@samuelmmmk181 part of the initial post was accurate, but you're right bro. I'm originally from LA but I lived in Nashville when Buck blew up. As much as I love 50, he has a huge heart (that he tries to cover up bc of insecurities caused by the street lifestyle) which usually equals a big ego. He wanted total control as an alpha which is exactly why him and Game didn't work. But what he did to Buck?! Evil. Petty. Horrible. Some 💩 I'd expect diddy to do. We hated what 50 did to Buck. I know Buck and alllll his close peeps personally. Yes we all know Buck self detrimental at times, but the whole releasing the tape of Buck crying was beyond petty. Outright evil. And when Buck was trying to break away from G-Unit and do his own thing, 50 "owned" Buck's masters and shut down every music outlet from letting Buck release for years until Buck's manager, Charlie P (literally a cool ass dude I talk to occasionally) found a way out of that and got Buck out of Interscope's "reigns." 50 made people believe Buck owed him all this $ which he did, but simultaneously, 50 was literally stealing his publishing and royalty checks. Hundreds of thousands of dollars. 50 didn't want anybody in his crew to shine w/o him. Just like Diddy did to most his artists, specifically the Lox. Greed and power is a helluva drug. Buck's finally free and he'll never reach the heights he did w/50 (at one time Buck was the hardest artist on the label) but at least he's still able to make good indy $ OFF OF HIS NAME AND MUSIC! I'm happy for 50s success with TV and w/e, but some of the things he did were outright childish and evil. It is what it is.

@@partyandbullshit45
I agree I think it's was an opportunity. But once established other avenues become available. Others might say doors being opened.
Does anyone agree?
From those doors being opened your individuality has an opportunity to shine.
Nah 50, you're the last line in the family tree. It started with Dr.Dre who found Eminem who found you. You failed in that way with G-unit because you chose a bunch of people who sounded like you. Dr.Dre and Eminem stepped outside of their shell and chose a talented artist who was hungry. G-unit was never filled with a member who could separate themselves from the pack. I always thought of G-unit like I thought of D-12 or the Outlawz (2pacs group) - just a bunch of rappers who's job was to hype your brand up.
Everybody doesn't have the same vision, and you can't take everybody with you. That's why most rappers don't put people that they know on.
Its not the vision, it's the drive whats lacking. Drive is everything when you trying to make it.
@@tagmanuk9633True. You cannot teach drive/motivation.

He’s right
Success doesn’t come in the masses that’s something 50 never understood because he’s 50😂🤦🏾♂️
50 cents story is an anomaly, there was hit put out on him by one of the biggest drug dealers in New York City history and he survived, this made everything about him more majestic, nobody in G- Unit had a story like that it was going to be hard to replicate
A lot of them discovered other big artist like J.Cole and Danny Brown. They went over 50’s head at the time cause he couldn’t rap his head around lyrics over a macho image. Not keeping up with the times was G-Units down fall. That was no one’s fault by 50’s but he didn’t have the self awareness to see it
When it comes to business and money, Curtis he bdon't play around👍
Maybe if 50 wasn’t taking 85% of what they made and had them locked into contracts so hard that it would have been fruitless for them to attempt anything else they might of had the capital to invest and succeed?
If it was that easy there would be 100 jayz, Nas and snoop..
Fifty way ahead of his time
The Game killed that shit before they could ever take off lol
I believe 50 has a problem seeing his own errors . People are not made to be what you want them to be. They can only be what they want and willing to do for themselves. Banks is a boss in his own right he just doesn't want to be under 50 for his own reasons. To be honest 50 is a horrible boss and leader . He destroys all his friendship because he thinks his way is the best and ONLY way .
50 Cent translation!
"I like Tony Yayo because he's my guy, and he's a good ol boy, and because of that I decided to get him a color tv and a PS1! Llyod Banks on the other hand was lazy, and he would always sit on the couch watching his big brother Bryan Pumper pull his Scooby-Doo out! So I had to drop him from G-unit. Young Buck was the youngest in our crew, he would always get emotional & cry until he began to form all sorts of bald spots which caused him to take chemotherapy, and end up with alopecia like Jada Pinkett Smith! To sum it all up, I was the hardest working member in my crew. This is why I did a song called: "I RUN NEW YORK"! Which Yayo screamed on the song saying: "HE RUNNN NEWWW YORRRKKK"!
If only The Game was thoroughbred G Unit could of been a force let the wrong cat in
