      Engineering Degree apprenticeships programs. How they operate and insight on working full-time whilst studying as well. Apprenticeship degrees are becoming a popular option for students as you get valuable working experience while attaining a degree and the company pays for your studies.

I am making a CE Degree Tier List video for next Friday, so if you want to have a 30min chat between now and then, I can include a quote or a mention of you and your career in the video. I would love to do that to help you. Plus, after 4 years and 150+ videos, I finally feel like I know what the YT algorithm wants right now. So if I can help you with any tips, great. I worked for Aecon Construction in the estimating and temporary design works for the transportation department during my co-op. I graduated in 2020 during the pandemic and now work for Aecon as a Project Coordinator or Field Engineer on an 18 million dollar highway rehabilitation project.

      The technical aspect of telecommunications is a quite interesting subfield of electrical engineering, if you're interested in telecom modulation systems (AM, FM, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, 5G, DVB, ATSC, etc.) and coding as well as digital signal processing, you should really look into projects that combine coding with communications and electrical circuits. I have a friend who is working on the technical implementation of 5G in various cities. Electrical engineering with focus on telecommunications has a good demand in the coming years especially in the more research oriented area.

    I thought I liked engineering but now I hate it.
    I am starting my third semester I am taking
    Statics
    Linear Algebra
    Probability and statistics
    Materials science
    Intro to environmental engineering.
    I think I might change to electrical engineering.
    Or just go to medicine because of the job aspects

      You need fucking guard school to make decent money on medicine tho think twice bro.. unless u do sale than idk

    • @JakeVoorhees
      @JakeVoorhees  3 года назад

      well engineering vs medicine is a huge difference. So saying those together means you dont really know what you want to do. EE is very different from CE too, so you should watch "What do civil engineers do" ruclips.net/video/FssJcjOIB7A/видео.html and "What do electrical engineers do" ruclips.net/video/zRawKI6Qsm0/видео.html in order to know if you should stay or if you should go, lol. You can get into med school with an engineering degree, so dont be silly and change outside of engineering k?

    What happens when you fail a class at US colleges??? How many time do the allow you to retake it???

    • @el_ingeniero_87
      @el_ingeniero_87 2 года назад

      I don’t think there’s a limit to retaking a course, as long as you’re paying for it. However, most classes require pre-requisite courses, and if you continue to fail that pre-requisite course, you’ll be unable to continue next course(s). Counselor might ask you to reconsider major if you can’t pass the class, this stunting progress. Also, having GPA below 2.0 may allow university to consider expulsion.
