Apparently there are quite a few different types of RC on the market, so different LEDs probably have different coding/erasing systems.
Mine is the blue LED, like this one, and it worked like this. Erasing and recoding in different keys. It worked exactly like the video.
Checking other videos, I found different types of recoding. The red LED RCs have probably different system of erasing/recoding.

My old RC is the red LED light and this one is blue LED light. I couldn’t copy the code. Will order new one with red light.

hi, I'm looking for a universal gate opener remote on Amazon, I'm not sure what to look for? What technology does something like HomeLink use? I know it's not dip switches, and I do not have access to the opener. I need a remote that will simply program by picking up from an existing remote, just like HomeLink.

Received my device last week. Cannot erase code. Pressing A +B results in flashing blue light infinity. No matter what combination. Same negative result. Can you help. Already removed the battery, but same negative result. Is there a way to reset the 'hard' way, on the electronic circuit?

Casas daSão C and D button is for reset, A and B is for clone the new code if old transmitter don't work to you so you can't clone it, just reset it and then push the button on the reaceiver to connect with new transmitter.

Help?! My new remote is only blinking twice when I go to copy. I have done all the prior steps but no matter how many times I do it - it will only blink twice on the new remote and does not copy.

uf lot of work, i don't know, but some of remote got programming pins on the circuit so maybe if you know someone good with arduino and programming, i don't know...

I think no for rolling code there's other chip, they'r mjch more safe.

Hi, I have the same look alike remote control, with Blue led. I tried every combination as shown in the video, and it does not work. I cannot get the led to blink, not when I push A and B together for several seconds, not when I push C and D together for several seconds, and not when I push a single button for a long time. Is there a possibility the remote is blocked for programming? Thank you

I also order one more remote last month and also not work, it has some new chip witch can't be programming, there are mentiones into description "FIXED CODE" all you can do with it is to pair with relay, but can't change button position, i solved it on hardware mod, i broke the connection between buttons on circuit and than solder tiny wires on position i want.

When I press A and B it keeps blinking continuessly, never did blink just that 3 times.
When I test A, B, C, D they al give a quick blink, this means the code is still there right? What can I try more when pressing a and b simultaneously doesn't do it?
if you got round button battery inside, you can't do nothing, i order few of them but figured out that they got fixed code, so you can just pair it with a receiver, but not copy the code.

To pair with a receiver, find a button on receiver, push it and than push any button on transmitter, than should work.
My original is red color while my clone is blue color. When I program, the blue color led blinks 2 times fast and 3 times slow like your video. But still the clone does not work. I tried to reset similar to your video and tried to copy again many times but fail. Any idea why?

You may got the remode with fixed code, wich can't be programmed.

Yes if you replace the chrystal (metal element on pcb) it is labeled with number 315 or 433, i know every time here and there 315 get out of stock, wait a bit 😉

Roie Sofer i think you can't open two doors because every reaceiver got his own code, you can try just pair with booth but i think that would not work.
Just find the button on reaceiver (door) push it and dan push button you want to use, than go to another door elevtronics and repeate. Thanks

New model, with round battery? They'r fucked up to connect, all i can do with them is just pair with the reaceiver, but then i got mixed buttons like a is c b is d... So i fizically solder them to right place (modificate circuit)
If you open up the remote and look at the chip. If it is marked SCT2260 then you have been sold a remote with a fixed code it is not a learning remote.

Jose de Jesus Escamilla Esparza i think that some with red light got fixed code, so you can't programming it.
You can just connect it wit the reaceiver (find some button on reaceiver press it and than push any button on new remote).
Than you got random button so if on old tx button A mean open door on new remote maybe button D had this function, all you can do there is fisical change the circuit, i do that on one remote, just broke the existed coonection from button and solder piece of wire to other button, hope you understand, but check first if you can connect it.

I'm not sure if you still answer questions here after a year. But my duplicator only flashes 2 times and no fast flashing afterwards when cloning! Do you know why?
I reset the duplicator, remove the existing code and so far it works exactly like your tutorial, but when it starts to clone (by pushing down the same buttons on the openers) it only flashes two times and then goes off.
Lili Irani hmm, i don't know, there are many tipe of this remote, maybe you got red led on yours, try to look other video, there are few different ways to program it but for me only this one work.

That's some new version i try to do all with them but without sucess, ony think that worked is just connect with the receiver and got one working button.

see the blue light model in this video , there is an identical looking fob but with a red light instead and the battery inside seems a little different . are they different frequencies because programming does not seem to work ? are they compatible ?
Yes there are many different remote with same housing, i got one with round flat battery in it, and i can't program them, because they got chip with fixed code all you can do with them is pair with reaceiver but can't be progtam each button.

What do you do when any combination of buttons won't make blue light flash to reset, these are new and the very same as your video
Shane Nolan there is some new version of it also with blue led but they got difgerent chip with fixed code, so you can't teach it for each button, you just can pair it with the reaceiver and that's it.
If you want to change button function you must soldering the buttons.

Shane Nolan find the button on your reaceiver (electronic from door or something) push that button and than push any button on transmitter, they must to pair eachother.
TinC33 I tried to pair new remote with purple-cable garage door opener, but failed. Pushed LEARN button on garage door opener and simultaneously pushed A button on new remote control, nothing happened.

I bought a dozen of these, new, cheap, at a swapmeet. I opened one and it was marked 433 on a little thingy inside. My garage opener is I believe 318, and my gate opener is 315. Can I change the fobs? Are they useless? Thanks for any help.
I think there's only 433 and 315 so i doubt about 318... Sure you can try to replace that chrystal, it's just decide on wich frequency the transmitter work. Just unsolder it and replace it to new controller, but try not overheat them too much when soldering.

Hmm i don't know there is a few different chip into that remotes, some of them got fixed code and can't be program. Try to open your key and find a chip and google it's numbers

Try to find other manual i had one where i need to hold and then push some button 3times to reset, some of chip is just unpossible to learn the code, check on ebay they had some manual in description and try different ways...
Good lord, I've tried different versions of this 433 universal remote control and found nothing but confusion and conflicting instructions. It all comes in Chinglish (0:43 in this video as an example). Clear as mud.
