The handgaurds look awesome man. Definitely gonna look into those.
Awesome video.
Hell yea man thank you! They are nice Handguards and have a lot of colors available.
Will definitely be my next mod. I’m waiting on a seat concepts seat but it’s been awhile since I bought it.
@@mattpeek12 I've been thinking about one...ever since I put a little tear in mine caused by not turning ABS off in the mud. smh
I’ve wanted one since I got it. It’s a must for me. I bought it 5 weeks ago, I emailed them this week and they said it would be 3 to 4 more weeks so just warning you it will take a while if you decide to get one.
I put a set of renthal fatbars on my bike RC high 609 bend and acerbis X-factory guards. One thing you need to do if you didn’t already is flip the handle bar support around in order to fit 1-7/8 bars. I also loosened and lengthened the brake line to have about a half inch more travel which is possible but the 8mm bolt under the cluster is a cocksucker to get at, suggest you get a 1/4 drive flex head ratchet, the smaller the better and the smallest 8mil socket you can find, that worked for me if I moved the cables and wires accordingly.
One thing I did that I haven’t seen a video on, is cutting the throttle tube while still on the bike, with a hacksaw. That’s how I did it, although it didn’t cut the whole blind end of the tube off, it left a thin wafer of plastic in the end that I cut out with an Xacto knife and then I finished it with a 3/16 round file and then leveled the cut end with a flat file. Sanded it down smooth and it looks like it’s factory.
Dremel does a great job on bar ends as well. The spurrs on the 250l throttle tube can be a pain in the ass, this is the only bike I’ve had with those. They act like it’s a rocket ship grip
Another boy fast forward
You didnt have to tap the holes in the handles?
No they come with inserts that open up as you tighten them. Some prefer to tap them but you’d have to buy that set separately.
@@CreekLifeTV so the handlebars on my 300l have a screw hole in the end that is way too small for the bolts thst come with the handguards
Stock levers ? Im worried a Bit that they are too long
Stock levers, they work out fine , thanks for watching
@@CreekLifeTV thanks , got the handguards today , i will try to Put them on soon on my 300l
they look good...i need to see if they have these to fit fat bars
Yes they come with all the adaptors
@@CreekLifeTV oh sweet..good to know.. thanks..
Great video. Do the powerMadd mirrors work for you out of the box or did you need different parts?
Thanks Kevin! They worked out the box, just have to drill a hole. I'll post a better video on it soon.
Nice! May I know what type of renthal bar did you use to? I mean the code/number of that model. Thank you.
Renthal 7/8 bars is what I have, the acerbis guards come with both fittings for whichever size bars.. www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/renthal-aluminum-7-8%22-handlebar-p
I didn't realize Eminem rode motorbikes?
Eminem don’t, Slim Shady baby! Lol
How did you get the throttle not to stick
Make sure you cut the grip and throttle tube away from the end and don’t overtighten the bar end bolt. If it’s sticking it’s only bc one of them is rubbing the guard.
I was here to see how the hand guards go on...
They went on…I’m sorry to disappoint you Jesus
Nice job! Great looking bike!! :)
Thanks Bro!
