The up Jab is my new favorite jab. One of my first boxing coaches Don Givens taught me the Sandy Sadler downward jab. However I could never get comfortable with that jab.
Straight to the point with demonstration and examples. True coach. I no longer watch any other coach to be honest, I don't see the need. I do think it is good obviously to learn from other coaches, but This man knows boxing and all the other styles as well, so you can learn so much here. For him to also have the understanding for Southpaw shows how well learned he is. I urge everyone to look for World Class Teachers in every area of Life, Too many Cowboys out there. This is an absolute GEM of a Channel. This and much more to success of Channel Fanastic! Big Thank you I teach my son this stuff! The gyms in England are not teaching this at ALL. It's a game of Chess but the King can really get hurt - not just get removed from the table!!

0:01 up jab :for smaller fighter fighting taller fighter/or opposite taller fighter trying fight smaller fighter 0:15 all ways : orthodox fighting orthodox or southpaw /or southpaw fighting orthodox or southpaw 0:50 having hand low to throw it 1:05 against tall fighter 1:20 throwing hook off it 1:40 or weave to inside to throw body shots 2:15 top of knucles use /becz it just used to pich head up 2:35 or with open hand too 3:15 southpaw against rt hnd 3:40 taller against smaller fighter 4:00 shorter fighter against taller fighter 4:15 getting him up to get him down the body Or lft hook same hand on top /or the rt hand over the top 4:20 philly shell 4:55 philly shell(shoulder roll defense) 5:00 loop rt hand around guard against philly shell 5:40 southpaw against southpaw(shooting it through the gloves against southpaw or orthodox) Through the gloves against everybody 5:55 taller guy can use it against shorter guy /shorter guy can use it against taller guy (Its who perfects it better ) 6:35 so using that lead hand jab to go all differents directions and create openings Not only straight There is 8 different jabs (and many jabs) 7:05 final explaination 7:20 against southpaw When I throw cross or left hook I bring my lead foot to the outside of his lead foot
I like this jab, but I take it a step farther. Such as imagining there is a apple on top of his head, basically like I'm not really trying to hit them. Just getting them to raise up and it disturbs balance.

Question: when sparring, ive noticed I have much more success with my jab when I throw up jabs as opposed to the traditional jab. It feels natural, I can throw it quick and hard. Last time sparring, I tried only using the traditional jab and I was having little success. Should I keep trying to use the traditional jab or just stick to what works for me?
Man u are the best boxing coach across youtube !!!!
