Thanks everyone for all the positive comments about my UI. Honestly, i posted this video over a year ago and just kind of forgot about it. It seems like the strings for both ElvUI and ConsolePort have broken. Which seems to happen whenever the mods get updated. Sorry for anyone who's been trying to upload my UI into your game. My UI has changed a bit since uploading this video and I'm still making tweaks. When it's done, I will share the strings to my new UI as soon as I can. Maybe even do a follow up video to go with it, but it'll take time.
I would love an updated version of the video OR the strings! This setup is amazing and I have been playing with console port for a while now. I'm using the default interface and tried to mimick your setup but i couldn't hide the map fully. the status bar from the map still shows. I'm really interested in seeing how you hide the minimap/sexy map. Thank you!
As someone who is visually impared i Just wanted to thank you for this. I really love WoW and even though i only started playing september of 2022 i am crazy in love with the game. Because of my disability i have no coordination and my brain sometimes takes longer to process thing because it lacks visual information, i don't do high end content and have trouble finding guilds because i am in constant fear of getting in the way of everyone. I will try your profile and maybe it works or maybe it dosen't but even so... Thank you very much
Console port and ElveUI are both fairly easy to get into and you can make a UI that works great for you. If you know some basic programming then WeakAura's etc can make it even better in terms of information feedback so that you get less to focus on. Mainly the important stuff.
thank you so much for posting the profile export for consoleport!! i just came back to wow for the first time since legion ended to try df in between ffxiv's patches a few days ago, and playing wow on kbm after having the luxury of gamepad support on ffxiv has made my carpal tunnel flare up so bad. i've been trying to set up this addon for a while and i'm just struggling with it, lol :-). you're a lifesaver!
Hello Kephas! What a great video and being 1 yr ago, there are not that many vids out there that explain the depth that you have! Thank you! However, I do have a question? How do you import the consoleport setup.. It looks alot like a GSE import! Copy paste! I am new to all of this and was hoping for a little direction! Thank again!
i've had the same issue with the utility ring. once the item is used, it'll appear on the ring. as a better workaround, i place the curor over the item in the quest tracker on the right and just click on it with L3 as needed. note: some items will allow the interact key to work too.
Hello friend, I play version 10.1.7 but the macro is not using how I do it; I put it and press everything but it doesn't go, it changes the skill the drawing but it doesn't launch the magic
Hello Kephas, I recently found your channel. I'm impressed how you designed the game to work for you! Might I ask whether you think class/spec matters for visually impaired players or they can succeed at playing any spec they like?
I know it varies from person to person in terms of the specifics of their visual limitations, but I personally haven't found a spec that I felt I couldn't play. Some are easier than others. Personally, I have the most trouble keeping track of dots. The only role I've never really tried in wow is healing, but I have healed dungeons in Final Fantasy 14 with little issue and with the advancements of Console Port, I'd like to give it a shot in Dragonflight at some point. Ultimately, I believe that where there's a will there's a way. Like everything else in life, I try not to put limitations on myself even though I have an impairment. So I say pick any class and spec you want and give it your best shot.
@@KephasAIE You truly inspire a lot of people! I know present expansions' content might be troublesome experience for visually impaired players but this shouldn't prevent anyone from enjoying the game. Thank you man for being such a motivation for all people! ♥️
@@billyroadifer3600 I have re uploaded the import string and replaced the link in the description. You should be able to import now without errors. I tested it myself and was able to import. I'm guessing it had something to do with ElvUI's Dragonflight update.
@TheKephas, hey bud, i tried importing the ELVUI part but I'm told there's an error decoding the data. I'm pretty new to all this so I might be missing the obvious. Am I supposed to split the raw pastebin into the different boxes in the profile import area?

Love the videos. I am currently having trouble with gse working on retail. Can't really figure it out. All buttons work until I put a gse macros on a button then it's like the button isn't being pushed when I push the button
How did you make the chat text so big? With Elvui? im visually impaired as well and are trying to set up my ui to suit my needs. Also, how did you do so you can toggle the chat hide/show?
All of that is done through elvui. It's a great all in one addon. You can toggle chat frames with a hotkey through it and you can change all of the font and text size for every aspect of the UI.

How did u get your gse to work with console port?

I can not get your pasted elvui profile to work with the current version of Elvui. Any ideas? Elvui throws an error about bad data.

Can you use the console port without using a controller i just really like the menu bar on the top of the screen
