Impressed with the overall finish but some of the paint hasn't taken on the tiles and they have bubbled despite cleaning and sanding, also removing an re painting, any tips
Hi @Brendan Rizzo .Thankyou. It depends on experience and conditions ie room temperature, i would wait the 6 hours because if its not dry enough you could end up pulling previous coat of in places.
I want to paint my tiles grey - but what would I use to go in between them afterwards so it looks like I still have the white of the grout? Would I use white tile paint?
@Little My . Not to sure to be honest, you could try a grout pen maybe, or like you said some white tile paint and a little paint brush. Let me know how you get on.
if its the v33 renovation floor and stairs reinforced ceramic technology. Yes i would say if its good for floor tiles were it gets walked on then its good for kitchen tiles. just dont use it on tiled floors in showers or walk in showers.
If i remember it was a 3hr recoat time and fully dry after 24hrs, then a further 20 days for it to fully harden. Maybe you have not left it long enough in between coats . Or you might not be loading the roller up enough. If that is the case it causes you to put pressure on the roller witch in turn may cause the not fully dried paint to come of.
Thank you for this tutorial, I was not really sure about painting over my tiles, however, I am a lot more confident now as I have seen someone doing the job. Very well put over. Again many thanks.
@Hazel Boucher, it is very durable, if you wipe grease straightaway it will last longer than if you left it for ages and scrubbed it with a green scouring pad.

Thanks again for great content Steve. I was just wondering - can you paint tiles that are behind the cooker/stove? Will the paint melt as it's near heat? Many thanks - Psyche aka Psyche Thompson UK 🇬🇧 🌹
Well done Steve great work. I used the v33 to paint all my kitchen cupboards very good product. I’m glad the tile paint is to the same quality. I will be painting my bathroom tiles soon.
Hi Steven, just a quick question. Does the paint flake especially next to the cooker due to the high heat? Also are stains easily wipe able? Thanks for the video!
This stuff is very durable and does wipe down, as for the cooker erea it doesn't get direct flame or heat of a electric hob as pans would sit on the hob so its mostly just moisture, you would probably have to repaint every 3 years to keep it tip top, like most things have to be maintained. But you would only need to give it one coat if you was painting it again, if you are using the same colour. hope this helps.
Great video, I want to paint my black&white kitchen tiles, they were there when i moved in, I did not feel confident, but after watching your video, I can't wait to get started, thank you.

Does this adhere to the tile as well as epoxy paint? And is there any way I can buy this in the US? It looks so much easier to use than the epoxy, and the prep is pretty much the same - the odor of epoxy is my biggest concern. Thanks!
I watched your video twice and took the plunge. Bought the V33 grey paint from screwfix, scrubbed down with cleaner and 180 grit sandpaper. I have quarry tiles on my kitchen wall, could I use this on mine because I would like to paint them white?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
@Sue Smith, Yes it should be fine, it is good stuff, just follow the instructions.
@@Inexteriors Do I use the paint for tiles or floor please? The quarry tiles on my kitchen wall doesn't have any shine to them unlike ceramic tiles.
@@suesmith1669 Use on wall tiles, not sure how long it would last on a floor with high traffic.
@@suesmith1669i reckon the paint will take to them tiles even better than ceramic tiles.
@@Inexteriors I mean do I use the tile paint or the floor paint on the tiles on my kitchen wall?

Thankyou, i am pleased the video helped, if i can help you with anything else decorating wise, please ask.
Thanks for sharing this tutorial, I very useful for me I can use it now :)
Does this adhere to the tile as well as epoxy paint? And is there any way I can buy this in the US? It looks so much easier to use than the epoxy, and the prep is pretty much the same - the odor of epoxy is my biggest concern. Thanks!
Hi, I have never use epoxy paint to be honest, this paint is very good, not sure if you can get it in the U.S..
please let me know if you can get it.
@@Inexteriors I can't find anywhere here that sells it, and no one there will ship it overseas 😒 Guess it's epoxy for me!
@@altdotshoedotnewsits a shame, let me know how it goes with the epoxy.
Hi Steve. What roller heads have you used. Thanks
foam roller head my freind.
Thanks for your reply
No probs at all if i can help with any other decorating issues please ask.
@@Inexteriors is this paint waterproof,IE for the shower. Thanks again
It is wipeable and water proof for splash backs but i would not recccomend 4 high impact water areas like wet rooms or showers.
I watched your video twice and took the plunge. Bought the V33 grey paint from screwfix, scrubbed down with cleaner and 180 grit sandpaper. Here’s the before and after photos if it will let me upload. The first coat took three times as long to put on. Did two coats. Used frog tape around the sockets on the first coat and did the second “on the eye.” Happy with the result. Just need silicone now.
Well done you, i can give you my email, you can send to that.
