    Great stuff, but why in heavens name is it internet dependent? For those of us who do not want to hook the studio computer to the net for obvious reasons, this is a no no.

    • @Emvoice
      @Emvoice  4 года назад +6

      That's basically because more people have internet connections than big hard drives and powerful processors. Storing several voices locally would practically require you to buy a dedicated hard drive. And we plan to release many voices :)

      Emvoice Hi! How much harddrive space are we talking about per Voice? I would not mind to have an option to download them, just so I could feel safe if your servers or your company goes down. What happens today if it does?

    • @Emvoice

      Emvoice is here to stay. We're already working on our 2nd voice (male) and there will be a 3rd (female) voice no matter how many licences are sold with the first 2 voices. If despite our efforts we fail, we will release the source code.

      Emvoice Hi! I bought Emvoice now and it is really good. I do hope that those who have paid gets more benifits that just discount on Voices. Keep improving the UI (fast workflow) and consider to let people download the data for those with lots of CPU power and HDD storage.

      @@peters7402 Thank you for buying it! We will continue improving on every aspect: UI, features, engine.

    With all my respect for the work done, these products are way too expensive. 200 bucks each voice. Wow. I can't sing but I can cry : )

      Hey! Is your wi-fi connection active?
      If it is and a word still isn't being recognized, you can also try to break it down per syllable. For example, if a word like "syllable" isn't being recognized you could type "sil uh bull" to achieve the same sound. Hopefully this helps, if not feel free to DM us on Facebook and we'll be happy to look further into this :)

      @@Emvoice Hello, I have the same problem. The software won't even recognize "I" or "you" and each word typed is silent with a red squiggly line under it.

    Can you tell me how to program the word "Smite". It only wants to do "Smit". I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me.

    The voices are not quite real enough to use on a finished song, but great tool to write your own songs then hire a real singer to sing it the way you have it. As it stands right now the prices for the low-quality voices is too high.

    What an incredible piece of software. I can sing a little bit but this will save me so much time. The phonemes remind me a lot of how Valve does it with their games, just with unique modifiers.
    I think I'll try this out and probably end up buying this soon. Can't believe I haven't found this earlier.

    I type "this" and she sings "kiss". Well well well. I have to write "vees". And if I stretch the note, she doesn't pronounce the "s" and you want we modify the text to be more "human" as she even can't sings a simple basic word correctly.
    The idea is wonderful but there's still some work guys.

    can you explain the glottal stop?

    • @Emvoice
      @Emvoice  4 года назад

      Just add "*" before a vowel sound: "what * if". Please see the manual in Help menu for more info. Thanks!

      @awedee.0 4 года назад

      @@Emvoice i did read the manual and it says to use "Q"for a glottal stop. i'll double check but I'm sure that's what I read.

    • @PThake

      @@awedee.0 you are right the manual says "The Glottal Stop
      The letter Q is used in phoneme typing to denote a Glottal Stop. This signifies the speaker fully disengaging speech in between words, for example, in between "uh-oh" or in British English pronunciation of T sounds ending syllables.". Not very clear how the glottal stop works.
