AC Odyssey was a ton of fun to explore and I'm not done yet. This game was the most requested game and thought it was finally time to cover it. Did you like Origins or Odyssey more? Why?
Beautiful video as always! I finished Odyssey a day ago (220 hours of playtime), but I'm not done yet either. The story creator missions are fun, and I still want to min-max my builds. I feel like that Origin is the superior game, it's more polished, more immersive than Odyssey, but I enjoyed Odyssey more. I'm a sucker for looting, and customizing my character, and Odyssey has everything I want in a game, it's not perfect, but it's still one of the best open-world games in my opinion, oh and the graphics is breathtaking, especially in HDR.
Both are amazing, but the main reason I prefer Odyssey is the combat. It just feels so much better than Origins. Both are amazing for its world and exploration though.
@@Flurdeh the combat in Odyssey is so much slower and more boring than Origins. It's not skillful combat or anything, it's just that the enemies in Odyssey are sponges, and they take forever to kill.
i enjoyed the game so much, got about 210 hours on record and got a total 100% (all main/side missions, every single location complete on the map, all orichalcum ore collected etc.). A lot of people dont like the game for the sake of it being called "assassins creed" but that made it even better for me. People say it doesnt feel like ac but it does, especially if you play the right way. You can tell that stealth and parkour werent the main focuses of the game (judging by the trailers too) but its still decently executed. If you play with the right armor set and weapons, you can easily get one shot assassinations, something people complain about too, and you can get a one shot assassination build pretty early on if you know what your doing and are paying attention to the game.
I love this game so much. Definitely one of my TOP 3 games ever played. This game doesnt deserve the hate it is getting. It is such a masterpiece in so many ways - soundtrack, graphic design, story, options to play and upgrade skills, weapons or skins... I can literally play it 1 000 hours and not be bored of it.
The problem with the game is that nothing is really fleshed out. There's no real interaction with anyone in the villages or the "cities". I think they could have added vertical depth to this game by allowing us to take on roles of various people we meet, and live through their lives. When we look at actual historical sites, what's the one thing that crosses everyone's minds? "I wonder what it was like to live in that time period". Not everything has to be about heros, hacking and slashing. For a game that tries so hard (and it does so admirably) to provide a historical context to ancient Greece, it does poorly in actually immersing us in that culture. I had my fill of fancy upgrades to armor and weapons, but I was left wondering if there are VR games out there that take us back in time to actually live amongst these people.
same bro, possibly one of my top 2 favorite games of all time (unsure if its far cry 5 or odyssey) and believe it or not, favorite ac game (yes, i did play every single other ac game before someone says im biased because odyssey couldve been my first ac game)
@@k1w1_yes far cry is nice but i don't like first person games...and odyssey is phenomenal...i like custmozation...i played all the assassins but they are too simple and easy...i think odyssey is the best and there would also be origins...valhalla is boring...
@@Flurdeh the legacy of the first blade dlc isnt too much content wise besides 2 or 3 new abilities and 3 new clothing sets but its got a really nice story, whereas fate of atlantis has 3 whole new maps with a decent size, new content like ability upgrades, new weapons and clothings and also a quite enjoyable story!
No. Just no. It is objectively not the best game ever made. It’s not even that much of a good game compared to any other game made. You people are teenagers, you need to play more games. Like idk the stalker series or some shit.
That second last shot was glorious. The way it just seemed like slow pull out until the statue zoomed in from behind added this energy to the whole shot while the statue itself, was still. Excellently done.
What ever they say, this will always be my favorite ac game! It may not seem like an assassin's creed game but its beauty can never be compared! Malaka!
People don't hate for example Star Wars: Republic Commando because this game isn't about jedi. Moreover, gamers appreciate it. @@giovankoulits8602no, there is a lot to complain about. For example; relay slow and janky combat that was somehow worse than origins. Or the really bad side quests
I just watched the origins gameographg video and i just want to know why cities and buildings arent built with the same artistic and glamorous styles as they were in ancient civilizations. Like they had way less tech but still put waaaaay more thought and care into each building and the artwork and carvings on them. I work in construction and i bet if an ancient greek saw how these town homes were made he/she would think modern day people are lazy, unintelligent, and have no appreciation for art
Most of these buildings that you're thinking of were built for gods so they had to be beautiful. Plus they were often built with slave labour. In contrast people in the dark ages and onwards built mostly for convenience and efficiency, and also didn't have as much access to slave labour. Also some skills and arts simply faded with time along with the culture of antiquity. Today these kinds of buildings would be incredibly expensive to build. People would rather build economic buildings designed for convenience and practicality over aesthetics. That's why you don't see cities looking like ancient Greek and Roman ones today, even though it would be more beautiful.
Wow! Which settings do you use? And also, on which platform did you record this? PC? I never get the settings quite right so that the distant objects are so clearly and beautifully defined, despite the fact that I set nearly all settings on Very High or Ultra. The long distance terrain is usually very hacky and vague in my game.

These huge AC game maps are interesting. It seems like the Egyptian game map was a little more polished than this one, and this one is a lot more polished than Valhalla. You can see that they're cranking out environment assets and cobbling together the world as fast as possible.
