This is the best video tutorial. I have a dream big panel and have not done it yet because I am a beginner and did not have the confidence to do it. This video has now given me the confidence to start. Thank you so much for taking the time to do. this video it is greatly appreciated.
The digitizing and thought behind creating the overall design is brilliant. Your techniques for lining up the next design easily translate to any embroidery design that is connected. Excellent!
This is a brilliant method of bringing a new look to embroidery work on the machine. You are very methodical which makes your end results stunning. Thank you for this tutorial, I shall give it a go!!
You are stinking brilliant! What an amazing job you did with this pretty but normal print. I wish I had your talent. Thank you so much for sharing your skills.
I just saw these panels this past month and have finally ordered 2 of the Dream Panels. Can't wait to get started. I first saw the link to Stitch Delight while watching a RUclips video from OML Embroidery!
Daleen, I am so excited to create this beautiful Dream Big design. Your tutorial video is beyond excellent. The instructions are spot-on and the best part you make it look easy and fun. I've already purchased the designs and can't wait to stitch out this Dream Big panel. Thank you so much for all your amazing designs and videos.
Beautiful job Ms. Lubbe! This will be the most extensive amount of quilt/embroidery that I have done on my Destiny II. I've had my panel for a year just waiting for the right time...that time is now! I'm excited to get started.
Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I can't wait to try mine!! This tutorial is so well done that I am much more confident that I can do this project!!! I am very excited!! I would love to see how you finish out you dream panel blanket with borders and binding... Thanks for such a stunning design!
I have a panel like yours only it is orange or yellow in the centre and blue for the rest. I am planning to cut my templates on my Cricut Maker but it will be a long process as the Maker won't accept pdf's. So I have to change them all to SVGs then import to my Maker. Once done it will be fine and I won't have to do it again but the templates will be there ready if I need to cut more, if one gets damaged for instance. What a wonderful video. I came across it by chance and just had to have this beautiful design. Plus there are many different colours of panels. So many options. So, thank you so much for this brilliant video!
I did the “Fire” panel and used FMQ. It was fun to do but I’m excited to try your method as well. Your video is so well done with very clear instructions.
@kathryn Snyder. OML Embroidery is doing a stitch out for the leaves. You may have your panel already done. I can't wait to do this dream panel! I've ordered 2 different dream panels!
I really appreciate your tutorial and your designs for Dream Big are beautiful! I have been working on this panel with FMQing and I think I will try doing a panel with your designs.
Beautiful work. I have never done multiple hooping but you make it look so easy. Can this be made on a Bernina 440? (.art format) What is the smallest hoop that you can use? Are you thrilled with the Brother you are using? Have you ever used a Bernina embroidery machine? Is this machine a stand alone machine or do you have to use a computer to interface the software with the machine? Thanks so much! It's amazing.
Hi Darlene! I have purchased your Dream Big design and finished stitching all units. I Love How it came out! Now can you explain how to “block” the quilt “ or square it up before adding The binding? Most you tubers only address Quilt Blocks, which this is more of a Wholecloth quilt. Thanks so much!
What a wonderful video Daleen. So good. I did the center on my panel last night. It is so beautiful. I am wondering, are you cutting the bulk of the stabilizer off on the back of the panel after each embroidery? I tried to watch but if it shows in your video, I am missing it. With the white backing I can't quite see what you have done. I don't want to wash it when the project is done. I am thinking that you might be washing it after you have complete the project. Thanks again for the very detailed video.
Purchased designs last night. Gorgeous! Problem: Cant find 2" test square in the PDFs. Which page is it on please? Don't think my printer is printing accurately-- I printed the center template -- need to verify. I have a Destiny2 with scan ability. I think your templates would be better. Thank you, Daleen.
Did you wash the one with the grid after you were done with the project? Do the markings come out easy? I love the white one beautiful earth tone colors!!
Absolutely beautiful and a terrific tutorial. I would like to know what the shiny fabric/paper was that you scanned. It looks like a great way to go. Thank you so much, Carolyn
I'm have everything to start my dream big panel except the actual embroidery file, I've watch this amazing video and noticed the PDF file looks different from the video.... Is there a different link for the PDF files once I purchase the embroidery files?
I will definitely but this tutorial are for ALL machines, but these days with the machines that can scan you can line it up even more perfect than with the use of templates
Absolutely stunning! I have the panel but wasn’t sure how to stitch it. So thank you for solving my problem. One ? How did the markings get on the backing?
Do you have suggested thread colors for the colors of panels? I'm thinking about 4 colors for the Olive panel and 4 colors for my blue panel. Does that seem about right? Thanks!
The pdf files are in the zip file which are your templates, so please look at the contents through your windows explorer and not your embroidery/quilt software as that is set by default to show only your machine format and not ALL files of type - so although the PDF files are there you don't see them, alternatively please set your software to view all files of type, but note that those software cannot read PDF files, so you will need to open it in windows explorer and double click on the PDF so acrobat reader opens it and you can print and view from there
would you explain again what the pen is you are using? I listened to it several time but could not quite catch the name in order to do a search for the pencil and the different colored fillers.
Amazing work! I am speechless. My question is: what is the size of the dream panel you used? They are selling it in two sizes: 43"x43" and 44"x44". I am not sure which I should chose in order to fit to your design.
I used the 43/44" panel, and also digitized them for the smaller kablooms panels for the smaller hoops, both sets are on the webpage, there is a long arm quilt format as well
@@StitchDelightTV thank you for replying back. I purchased the large design, now I am considering to purchase the smaller version too. Your work is amazing! I have to stitch it out. I just bought a cheap laminating machine, I will laminate the petals today. I am so excited
The design is at www.stitchdelight.net/SDS1513-Dream-Big-for-Printed-Panel and the pencil I bought here in South Africa but I think most quilt shops will sell it as well or least something similar
Not often no, I don't spray on the hoop, but if it does, I just use a baby wipe to wipe it clean, and if really sticky I use rubbing alcohol, it cleans off very easily
Yes. I love it. Wonderfully easy to follow patterns. Stitches out beautifully. This is NOT a “quickie” project. To help with edge stitching I recommend basting at least a 4” border on all 4 sides to help with the designs that stitch out along the edges if you are hooping using magnetic SNAP-HOOP. I also basted my panel down using water soluble thread. Lots of prep work before actually stitching embroidery designs....but so worth it once completed
Absolutely stunning! Thank you for showing how to sew one step by step!
Only a pleasure :)

Glad it was helpful!

Beautiful digitizing as with every design you create!

beautiful! Did you mark a 1" grid on the fabric? I'm going to buy the design but would like a smaller design set.
Thank you for such a detailed tutorial.

The pdf is included in the zip file yes
do you need the stabilizer since you have your quilt sandwich? doesn't the backing act as the stabilizer?
For those of us who have the ability to scan their fabric, wouldn’t that be a bit easier to do? Just a thought.
Just by using my quilt rulers and marking pencil
Can a light woven stabilizer like SF101 be ironed onto the panel to keep the fabric from stretching?
AMAZING! Thank you so much. With the DM2 - we can scan/pic and be sure the placement is fitting the correct petal...right? So Excited!
Yes you can, I used my scan and cut to cut my templates , its included in the zip file
Do you have suggested thread colors for the colors of panels? I'm thinking about 4 colors for the Olive panel and 4 colors for my blue panel. Does that seem about right? Thanks!
I purchased this design to do on my longarm. Do you have a tutorial for stitching this on a longarm? ty
Absolutely gorgeous! What are your thoughts on using the camera on the Solaris for placement rather than matching centers and cross lines with pins?
I was thinking the same thing. I have the enterprise 10 needle machine with the camera and thought I would try that.
Me too, it sure would be easier than trying to line up everything as in the video.
oh that would be a GREAT way of placing it perfectly - if your machine has these features by all means make full use of it
@@StitchDelightTV Thank you , Daleen, for such a stunning pattern! Looking forward to stitching this!
What size and type of needle did you use in your Innovis? I've finally resorted to using 90/14 Metallic needles.
Are these designs with templates still available? I've searched and looked all over your site but cant find them. Please help. Thank you.
How do I get a printout of the placement embroidery leaf I have downloaded all the stiches but don't know what leaf the go on

would you explain again what the pen is you are using? I listened to it several time but could not quite catch the name in order to do a search for the pencil and the different colored fillers.
The make is Prym - it has chalk led and draws a thin line.
This is beautiful. Just curious how many spools of thread did it require?
Just wondering if you ever found out how much thread it’s required? I would like to buy this but need to know about the threads
Where can I purchase the pencil that washes out? What is the name of it again?
When I clicked on the link to make a purchase for the panel embroidery, the link was broken. ?? Is this not available anymore?

I forgot to ask how did your create the grid? With a yard stick?
Gorgeous thank you!
I know this is a unusual question but I don’t know the answer. When you laminate the pieces can you cut around the pattern and it won’t separate? TYIA
No questions it too little to ask :) They somehow don't separate no, I think the plastic somehow stick to the paper
@@StitchDelightTV thank you. I want to do my dream panel and saw that you were laminating the pieces. I desperately want to do the panel justice.
what kind of fabric pencil are you using?
Is that a china maker you using? If so how you get that outta fabric
Amazing work! I am speechless. My question is: what is the size of the dream panel you used? They are selling it in two sizes: 43"x43" and 44"x44". I am not sure which I should chose in order to fit to your design.
good question i was wondering the same thing
Found the answer on facebook, is 44 inches

I was wondering the same thing? seems like it would be a lot faster.
It looks amazing. Can you let me know the name of the marker pen you use please.
The make is Prym :)
Where can I purchase your designs and the pen you used

The Prym pencil and refills are at Amazon.
Thanks. GREAT
What formats are available. Can I get VP3?
I received my designs in VP3. Can't wait to get to work!
Yes VP3 is one of the formats available
Doesn’t your hoop get sticky from all the spray adhesive?
Not often no, I don't spray on the hoop, but if it does, I just use a baby wipe to wipe it clean, and if really sticky I use rubbing alcohol, it cleans off very easily
Where is the designs please
Busy getting them ready today and will post link as soon as its ready
