People like Mississippi Fred McDowell, Son House, Charley Patton etc go beyond words and this guy has it also.

I had been playing footdrums for only two months and was greatly enjoying this new career direction. I had no idea what I was doing, drum-wise, and was making it all up as I went along. The kickdrum was more "whap" than "thump," which is not ideal, but I owe Pete Farmer of Farmer Foot Drums huge thanks for helping give me the beat. Thanks, Pete!

Love the way Adam incorporates modern jazz while never giving up the traditional blues feel. It's what the old timers would have done if those riffs were out there back then!
