It''s pretty expensive. The condo is not that big. I've seen condo with the same size and amenities for less than 500- 600 USD per month. It's maybe a few years older but you'lll save a lot.
I know. Just walk 10-15min from there or one MTS station and you’ll pay 5x cheaper for a new (or few years old) building . Also expats have to be careful with those real estate agency for foreigners. They often rent overpriced condo/apartment. If you go with a local friend with a Thai company, it might be much cheaper. The same happens in Japan, Korea Taïwan (I’m living in Japan right now).
Personal experience? If you follow the advice of a local you end up in a appartement, 20th floor, no water pressure, no wifi, faulty elevator, no transportation in a suburb WAY out of the city center. I even got it FOR FREE! And I still didn’t want it. The Muang Thong Thani disaster, where many middle class invested their money in. Look at it now, completely dilapidated.
I understand how location is very important in the price of apartments but honestly paying €3000 for such a relatively small space is still ridiculous to me. I maybe expected a bigger balcony as well so you could actually place a chair and table outside. The view is amazing but I have a feeling the empty lot in front of it will probably get something built on it eventually which will probably limit your view tremendously. The building is pretty and looks very neat and modern. I just don't think paying that much money is reasonable?
@@keisone I would have thought that for the price , if the condo , had the game room , movie room , the bar and so on , then I can see there would be more people getting that place .

Jeng! Same design as my old HK apartment. The balcony at mine was smaller. But that was because of a typhoon safety rule. My place was about 10 years old. Maybe the same architect. My view was Victoria harbour to central. 60th floor. Pretty epic. I would love this place more if it had full on lumphini park views. HK Facilities were bigger than this. Bowling, movie theatre, library, study zone. Meeting rooms. With huge kitchen. I saw a 200 person wedding party being catered there. Also had Aussie style bbq pots on one of the rooftops. HK rental prices are much higher. 75000 baht equivalent puts you in a shoebox here atm. Lots of HKers are moving on and loving the Thai alternatives. I’ll be sharing this one with my socials tomorrow.
Hilariously small for that price. You can rent 2 bed 2 bath in Santa Monica, California, near the beach, for this price. It's not as fancy, but you don't have to live in random Thailand, lmao.

That condo is insanely overpriced! You literally get more for your money in the centre of London, England, and London is one of the most expensive and exclusive cities in the whole world. Thailand is 'supposed' to be cheap, yet it seems to actually be the most expensive when it comes to renting city condo's. You get nothing for your money. The only good things are the buildings offer a lot of luxuries like gyms, swimming pools etc, but the condos themselves are an absolute joke for the money that you pay.
Beautiful luxury condo, but not really my taste or within my budget. I always prefer houses for privacy and the money. I was born and raised in BKK, so perhaps the concrete jungle city scape doesn't really appeal to me.
houses are nice but theyre on the ground floor (security and creepy crawlers), you have to maintain the outside, you cant walk to the store and pay more in utilities.

Oh mate there is tons within that price range.. I personally am within that amount too for my nice place. Check out renthub or hip flat websites, just google them.
No hate but when I think of Thailand its all about making you dollar stretch....bang for your buck.. this is crazy high for an average condo.. id rather have a longer commute and pay less for something nicer. But hey if its in demand and they can charge that much so be it.. just seems like the oposite reason to relocate that way.
Thats some horrible prices for very mediocre places. In fact I can find an apt in any city with nicer places in the usa at those rates. Is this a joke video?
Very mediocre place??? Do you have any clue about the area around Lumphini park? All I know about real estate in the USA is that you can get a real house for free in Detroit. And that it is the only country where so many people live in caravans. Trailer parks. You don’t have that in Thailand! Mediocre place… good gracious…

Enjoy the view while you can. Next year there will be a new skyscraper on that vacant lot right in front of the balcony.
haha probably, or it could stay empty for 10 years haha who knows in Bangkok lol
