Making a Custom Watch | Using Seiko NH34 Movement

In this video we made this vintage styled GMT customer watch using NH34 movement. We used dual time bezel insert to compete the watch. Overall watch turned out extremly beautiful.

were does the fluted metalring go , 5:18 you put the movement on it , or is it just a spacer for the sides .i wanted to change my dial and this ring fell into my hands while putting the movement out. i am not able to see it in the next steps.

Do you measure from the crown to the case? Or from the crown to the top of the threads of the case? When cutting the stem🤔

Cool watch! Just tried doing a gmt mod yesterday… and cam across a problem, my gmt hand has to be slightly upwards, otherwise it hits the indexes…is it also the case with you?

It happens if the dial is not seated properly or the indexes are too large and these are sitting too high on the dial.
It is recommended to go for a dial which doesn’t has applied hour markers.

Why the hate? I own several gen Rolex’s and these days there’s way better options due to availability of these cheap parts. I have big respect for an original build regardless of the costs. A gen Rolex costs Rolex fkall to make so the idiots are people like me who own them not this guy
