I have the Angus Trim XVIa.4, XVIIIb.8 and a Xa.5 arming sword. Just bought the XIIa.19 like yours with a custom Grip and scabbard from Matthew Cross. Oh yes, they are my favorites! Looking forward to your full review. Enjoy!

Ah I'm jealous! I've wanted an Atrim XII.19 for so long. I almost bought a blue one he posted recently. But alas I was trying to be financially responsible lol. I have three Angus Trim swords and they are all mind blowing with how well they handle. I suspect you're definitely gonna be buying more from him lol. Congrats, that's a gorgeous sword!

Congratulations! Atrim swords are like Albion, once you have one, you just keep having more and more of them. 19 is the model number for type XIIa. He makes many different versions of each type and they all handle quite differently and they tend to have different sizes and other configurations as well, such as distal taper, profile taper, and even cross section for a single type (e.g. both hexagonal and lenticular cross sections are found on originals of type XIIa). His favorite types are Xa, XII, XIIa, XIIIa, XIIIb, XVI, XVIa, and XVIIIb (this includes some XVIIIa as well), I think he makes a few XVII and XIX and fantasy swords of European medieval hilt with leaf-shaped blades and Chinese jian blades, too. The primary focus are the lively handling dynamics and the purposes they convey.
Looking forward to your review of this one. BTW, you HAVE reviewed the A&A Schloss Erbach sword on this channel, have you forgotten?

Hahahaha. OMG! That’s right! I did review the Schloss. When you said that, I went back and looked. That’s what happens when you take a long hiatus…..or you start getting old lol. Yes…I would love to get a type xviii angus blade. Maybe in the future. I’m eyeing a Falke right now, which I have also owned lol. Too many awesome swords, not enough 💰. I have to choose carefully

Can anyone tell me more about the swords that are made in collaboration with Valiant Arms? The blades are just designed and approved by Angus Trim correct and not made by him?
The Vision line on there and Kult Of Athena are the same price as on his Facebook page but how is the actual quality???

The look amazing. The new Tellaro is really catching my eye. I know the owner of valiant and angus are really good friends and have a considerable history of collaboration. I believe angus is fully designing the blades and all aspects of the sword’s handling while valiant is producing it and designing the scabbard and grip and fittings. It could be wrong, but I believe that’s how it works. I imagine the quality is top notch
